She caught the blade with ease despite the fact that blades were not her preferred weapon. They simply could get so messy and could leave quite a bit of evidence behind. Still, they had their uses and she'd used them for other things in the past. Of course not one made of keratin. That was a new one for her.

As she listened to him, she tested the flexibility of the blade and even filed just a little off so she could run tests on it. She even used it to cut paper and hair and even to see if it would leave a mark on stone.

"So this is something that can happen throughout your body?" That would imply that these were parts of his body coming free. Or perhaps coming free and being replaced? A good question actually.

"Do you need to return these pieces to your body after they have been used as weaponry?"
