He relaxes a little bit once they're out of the clinic, then hits on a not-actually-a-lie little white lie, "I'm just, you know, medical. Things. I spend enough time around that sort of nonsense, that even just visiting is enough to--" He waves a hand at his arms and then mimes breaking out in hives. It's a surprisingly elaborate sort of gesture as the imaginary hives spread up his arms and balloon out across his throat. "I don't know how you can work in that kind of environment."
