[Nott doesn't even notice the guy walking towards her, she's so caught up in confusion about apparently forgetting that she has obviously always had a tail. When someone very tall runs into her she lets out a muffled shriek, covering her mouth to shield everyone's ears from the worst of it.
She stares up at this stranger—a human stranger, because of course—with wide catlike yellow eyes, mouth still covered by her bandaged hands, in baffled disbelief for a few seconds.
Then he opens his mouth, and she quickly remembers herself before it's too late. She deftly, strategically covers the bottom half of her face with her mask. It's made of cracked white porcelain, the painted red lips reminiscent of a doll.]
Nope. Nuh-uh. Definitely just a halfling over here. I don't eat berries. I'm very normal.
[She sweeps her tail back behind her, and it takes refuge among the tattered fabric of her hooded cloak.]
