I guess. But I haven't seen any missing people, that I know of. They might not even be in the forest anymore. Maybe some human is out there kidnapping people as they wander close.

[She swallows and licks her lips.]

Or maybe one of my neighbors is just getting a nice and steady influx of food. If humans are disappearing in the forest, it's pretty stupid to wander in too.
