No, he appreciates that she does seem to understand where he's coming from. That he'd never really gotten a 'break up', in any sense of the word. That there wasn't really anything to break up in the first place. That Ianto had had feelings for Jack, and Jack had left him, and he'd been hurt by that but those feelings had still remained for the other man, even so.

He plucks up another piece of grass, twisting it in his fingers as he continues, "John's pretty sure I'm going to leave him to go back to Jack. He wants me to talk to him, fill him in on everything, and figure this out on my own. He's not really been talking to me since. So here I am, giving him some space, and it's all one big mess, really."
