It's like he's being both skittish and his normal grumpy self and also being quite still, a contradiction that she's not seen before. She'd be amused, but she doesn't think he'd find it funny...

... until he mentions the fact that this Di Cavendish is likely laughing and then she cracks a smile and huffs a laugh. "You're not an idiot, Rocket. Nothing's happened to you and nothing's going to happen to you. Just relax."

Probably easier said than done, but she's going to keep trying.
