[clarke isn't really sure how she ended up agreeing to this really but here she was trying to gear up in a wetsuit to get ready for this. she had luckily learned how to swim since being here but it's not something she has had too much practice in much less deep dive swimming and everything else this quest entails but she is still determined to see this though like she agreed to not to mention she is a bit curious about what they might find down there too] So are you ready?

[There are, perhaps, a whole slew of other quests that might've been a better idea all things considered. It's freezing cold in Nadril as always, and it's only going to get colder once they're submerged in water, protective gear and wetsuits or not.

But evidently, none of this is actually getting to Lance because this is an adventure and god knows part of him is missing the activity that came along with his crazy space life back home. He doesn't miss the war or the fighting -- of course, not, but it's the little moments of meeting cool aliens, seeing new planets, traveling in outer space, flying.

Well. Being in the water's not at all like flying, but he loves being in the water as well.]

You bet I am, Clarke! [He's grinning widely, and produces his bayard from a pouch attached to his wetsuit with what is deeeefinitely an unnecessary twirl and a flourish.] Got my trusty bayard all raring to go, so if there's anything freaky down there, you can count on me to wham bam it out of our way.

[He winks. Clarke what have you agreed to here....]

[clarke definitely doesn't know at all what she has gotten herself into but she just goes with it. she doesn't know what a bayard is so she looks confused for a moment but she can easily guess that it was some sort of weapon of his. she just smiles, laughing slightly hearing his words including what was apparently their team name but she was glad that he was ready to go too]

Okay, yeah so we'll definitely be fine down there. [she just nods at that] Let's go then!

[Aha! Great, so they're both good and ready then. It's always important to go into these sorts of things with a positive outlook, and he's glad they're on the same wavelength on this one. He reholsters his bayard, rechecks his oxygen tank and gives the headset they're using to communicate with each other to make sure it's working.]

Testing, testing, mic check. Clarke, you copy?

[One final equipment check can't hurt, right? He makes his way over to the docks where they'll be diving from.]
