[ Even with the fog thinning out, Bucky doesn't pull away. There's an odd sort of comfort to having Thomas so close and more importantly, he feels like he's better able to protect him like this. Maybe it's a strange thought, because Bucky knows exactly how capable Thomas is, but he also knows that his own vulnerabilities show through at times and being strong and capable doesn't strip a man of weaknesses. It shouldn't, because the only way to do that is to strip him of his humanity and Bucky's experienced that, too.
