[ The glint in her eyes is all the answer Asha needs. Perhaps there'll be a moment later where Clary gets the opportunity — perhaps she has something grander in mind for a laugh. Asha doesn't fear her, and doesn't feel she will cross the line into intolerable mockery. ]
I accept.
[ It delights her. The grin is sharp. ]
Have you anyone in mind?

[ it means more than kara can say. she has to swallow before she can repeat: ]
Thank you. [ this time, her words are heavier, carrying more weight than before. she's felt alone a lot since waking up. hearing that she isn't, even from someone who, to her mind, is a stranger? it helps. ]

I would never mean to suggest otherwise, milady. Merely that, in my experience, those who are accustomed to a harsher lifestyle often grow...restless.
[That is a nice way of putting it. But, he did promise her equal exchange, so:]
I hold no banners to one land over another. My loyalty is to Azeroth herself, a world fraught with war and misfortune, and yet so full of mysteries and wonder. It is a land of magic, forged by the hands of celestial beings that once walked her shores, and now tended to and guarded by dragons. Her treasures are sought by many, both native and otherwise -- she had nearly been decimated by the greed of many more than once. Her people are stalwart and varied...humans, orcs, elves. I could go on.
[But he has given her quite a lot to swallow already.]

[ the ghost of a smile plays at his lips. ]
It depends on what you consider "hunting".
[ though he'd argue that revolvers are better in general... that might not be the objective case. ]
Really though, the best thing to do is first determine what your shooting style is.

[ It would be impossible to tell from the crowd, but that groan sounds forced. 76 knows because he's punched enough people, and been punched enough times, to tell the difference. So Alan knows how to take a hit. Not surprising.
It signals to 76 that he can push a little harder, though, and he capitalizes on the opening that the first blow gave him, lunging forward to swing his fist at Alan's jaw. ]

[ It's a very nice way of putting it. Compassion is — new. The people here extend it freely, and Asha has always looked upon such with suspicion. Iron rusts if not sharpened, and she does not wish to be soft. ]
I am more a captain than a lady.
[ But she does not insist, she hears respect in his voice and it satisfies her. ]
Our realm dreams of dragons, [ she tells him, ] as all power comes from fire and blood. Is it the same of Azeroth?

[ Her fingers meet Keyleth's, her palm flattens. She's enraptured, caught fast by girlish wonder. This is real. ]
[ Then she realises Keyleth is trying to signal her. Upwards. Asha shakes her head, and points instead to the tail. She breaks their contact to swim around Keyleth, clearly admiring her. ]

In a manner of speaking. An Azerothian need not dream -- our dragons are very real, capable of walking among mortals.
[There is a small twinkle of knowing in his glowing eyes. A bit more complicated than fire and blood, but he thinks he may grasp her meaning.]
Though, I would argue that the affairs of dragons are not for mortals to meddle in.

( Diana is a lady with a schedule, but she can always find time for the people that matter most to her. Bruce matters — Cassie, his family, matters. even by extension. the waitress is arrives with the requested drinks and a murmur that the food is on its way, so it is after she departs that Diana nods. )
Tomorrow. After midday.
( she's required at a shift before then. )
I imagine I know where to meet. ( Bruce has already secured a space for training, so it makes sense that they'd use it. )

[ Oh! Well, in that case, Keyleth shows off a little, undulating her tail and swimming around Asha in an underwater dance. If she knew the thoughts going through Asha's head, she'd feel terrible for not admitting that she's not, in fact, a mermaid--but, well, she's met some! Keyleth can't change into anything she hasn't encountered before. ]
[ Cass imagines that her father has already handled that kind of thing, and is decidedly unbothered by this.
Besides, she's got hot chocolate to consume.
Though, one quick question comes to mind: ]
What is your weapon of choice?
[ She turns to Batman, grinning. ]
I met a girl who fights with swords.

She is interesting. Arya. She doesn't trust computers. Or the phones.
[ Which means getting in touch with her might be tricky but she also has family here, so probably not too tricky. ]
Staves are fun, but I'm used to just using my body most of the time.

[ Ana watches. She's a masked figure, her arms folded across her chest, still and calm amidst the increasingly fervent crowd. It was a good show. She wouldn't have thought Alan was such a showman, or that Jack would be willing to play along.
She's not concerned about either of them, even when Alan goes down.
Jack will meet her at their agreed upon rendezvous point. It's Alan whose attention she needs to catch. She wants him to follow her. ]

She may not have such devices from her world. They are odd to get used to.
( Diana can't say she loves using her phone, either, even though she doesn't suppose any information will sneak off of it. Bruce saw to that.
Diana knows what that near smile means, the playfulness it indicates. her smile in return is not so fleeting. )
I learn quickly. And that is not modesty. ( she's seen some of the modern styles Bruce speaks of, and she's excited to see more. she turns her smile on Cassie. ) I look forward to seeing them, then.

[ Oh, she's sure he has a line for everything.
Dryly: ] You mean in the crowd, instead of in the ring? I didn't want to show you up.
[ Once he falls into step, she leads the way towards a back exit. One of many, in a place like this. ]
Remember the partner I told you about? I think it's time you meet him properly.

Try not to get punched this time.
[ Ana heads up to their rendezvous point: a nearby bar. It's not that they need to be secretive about moving around together. Ana had just expected to leave the fight club at some point if it proved to be nothing extremely dangerous to Jack, or if any shadowy figures turned up to offer silver while he was preoccupied. Any number of interesting opportunities could have come up for Jack as well. It was simpler to have somewhere to find each other again before morning.
Jack has already picked a shadowed corner for himself, and Ana settles in across from him, motioning for Alan to sit beside her. ]
Alan is the friend I was telling you about, 76. I see you two are already acquainted.
