While people were helpfully holding hands to direct people to Olympia, Richard was doing something far more important and exciting. He was at the gates of the city, armed with his own little stick of magical stickers and he was also placing them on incoming refugees with a flourish and a friendly grin. This was the REAL perk of the Royal Guard. Sure, it wasn't his job, but he'd convinced someone to let him take over while they ducked out to go have an early lunch. That was fine, because this was the best!
"Hello! Welcome to Olympia! Right this way please. Next! All bound for Olympia, move forward, thank you!"
Beach Party
Gone are Richard's normal clothes he wears when trying to look kingly or like a royal guard. He's on vacation, which means too much sunscreen and this poorly thought out ensemble, but being a fashion disaster doesn't seem to be stopping. He's having fun eating, failing to even land a hit on a watermelon, and standing to brood silently shin deep in the ocean. Someone could even accuse him of having taken up a certain shady stranger's offer to wear ridiculous clothes to model, but no. Richard did this to himself.
Flona Cove
Richard had gone to the beach party and had a blast, but now he was hear for the real tour de force. He was on a ship, dressed in his diving gear and wetsuit, and was staring with concern at the watery depths below. He'd been told that this could be dangerous, but that it would be fine as long as he took precautions. When it was explained, he listened dutifully and committed them to memory. He would not bungle this up. Richard was going to get this right.
Except, just before it was time to dive, he looks to the person on his left. "Say, do you think it's going to be a problem if I haven't actually learned to swim?"
