That is a long time, and despite the fact Rosalind wants nothing more than to travel all the worlds with Robert at her side for the rest of eternity, she in turn can't imagine simply . . . existing like that. To live a thousand years alone, stuck in one world, stuck with her limited human knowledge . . .]

I suppose if nothing else, this is a bit of a variation, hm?

[It's not that she pities him, no, nothing so weak as that. But she's . . . hm. Call it more interested in him, perhaps, than she'd been at the start of this conversation. Invested in him.]
