[ Circa 2003. ]

That is a simplistic way of viewing things, but I understand what you are saying. [ Kirei pauses as he realizes that the comment itself comes off as harsh. His eyes drift to the side as he wonders if he should leave it or not. But his pause alone is enough to incite some annoyance with Aoi, at least. ] I merely mean that it is easy for me to understand in naming it as a system which one is tapping information into.

[ Pressing his hand against his mouth, he breathes out slow. The nausea is settling and he is feeling better. Indeed, he appreciates when others can start speeches of these sort when he feels ill. It helps to give him something to focus on that is not his own body. ] True enough. When it comes down to it, she values her life too much to be foolish. [ Otherwise, she wouldn't have even humored the idea of accepting him as a Master. ]

But you never know what young maidens will do. I do not say that as girls being unpredictable or unruly, but rather that they shall do whatever is necessary. More so than even we could possibly, due to the fact that they are well aware of their own bodies and mentalities others have towards them ... regardless if a person means them maliciously or not. [ Saber was always treated as a delicate woman by Shirou Emiya before she became Avenger; he couldn't truly see her abilities or strength. Unfortunate. ]

I suppose that relates to my own feelings as well. [ Jeanne Alter will not be foolish with her life. His worry about it enough to attempt to figure out the teleportation is foolish on his part. Even if he does not wish to lose his Servant to a misstep, a mistake in battle; he understands that is the course of the Holy Grail War even if it is not fully activated here. In short, there is nothing that he can or can't do that he isn't already doing. ]

And so that turns back to the systems that are now before us. We have our own prejudices against them and how they are to be used. We'll relate them to our own mentality and knowledge of technology, but it will do what it is meant to do... no matter what we do in turn. Did you follow all of that, Aoi?
