so instead he mostly takes it, though he slashes down at the leg that hits him as soon the blow has found purchase. as a servant, he can simply ignore the pain of the attack, though it's impressive to begin with that a simple kick from a priest could even harm a servant at all. even a servant whose being greatly weakened by his lack of a master.
