[ ENTERTAINMENT ] - OPEN TO ALL

( it's a good way to pass a day, if nothing else. most of her time is spent trying to keep her mind off of the fate of Westeros, off of the fate of her allies and enemies alike -- maybe the thoughts only plague her so persistently because Daenerys refused to seek them out on Thesa Station, but she still isn't likely to change her mind any time soon. so, rather than let the ghostly, slumbering faces haunt her waking and sleeping moments....she'll go seek out street dancers. why not, right?

it doesn't especially concern her as she wanders from the theatre areas to the red light and back again, her time in the east has seen her witness all of this and more, but she treats it all with a mild and gentle curiosity as she moves around the areas. what little coin she has come across is donated to the entertainment she enjoys, and it's mostly enough to keep the melancholy from her face.

( she doesn't exactly....have a job, which does throw something of a spanner into the works when it comes to being in a market. the lack of finances doesn't stop Daenerys from going all the same though, just prevents her from doing much more than looking. and it's a lot of looking that she's doing, quietly walking along and inspecting fine silks and coarse cloths alike... because she's not really looking for materials, honestly. she's actually warily sizing up the people that she comes across, and it's hardly the most covert of disguises but it's the one she uses all the same.

whenever someone's patience for her lingering without purchase wears too thin she's quick to move on, although not always quick enough. maybe you're the one working in the market stall and sick of this girl hovering around staring at everything on sale, or maybe you're a passer by willing to step in when someone finally has had enough and tells her as much. either way, roll up with popcorn, there's about to be a yelling match. )

[ RESIDENTIAL ] - OPEN / 3 threads max, first come first serve

( At night, she doesn't sleep. It's maybe not the best practice for a person like herself with no means of protection and no bodyguards here to do that for her, but she spends her time walking the streets anyway. If anything terrible were to happen she could surely think of a way out of it, but more important is the need to get out of those rooms. It's a kindness to allow the refugees to stay there, she knows this, and yet the rooms feel oppressive. The people sharing with her feel like enemies, and more than anything she longs for home.

So she walks. It's not as quiet out as she might expect, but it's better than nothing. If anyone approaches her she'll be friendly, even welcoming, but it's unlikely that she'll be reaching out to anyone when she's on these night strolls. Far too much brooding to be done here, guys. )
