Their meetings have been filled with too much infortmation too quickly, but then again it might be a good thing to be housed with someone who is already aware that he isn't human -- it's one way of looking at this in a positive light. The scent, while unpleasant, isn't as bad as he makes it sound either. Giovanni isn't as strongly scented as the shapeshifters nor werewolves from his world, though there are so few of the latter it's a wonder he even remembers what they smell of at all.

He even laughs in response to the comment, not really minding even if Giovanni's thoughts are difficult to deal with. ]
