[ He's partially still hanging around the area just because it's been a little hard for him to find a way to encourage people to disperse too — or get away once it became clear there wasn't much need for a fighter and they ran out of heavy things that needed moving. Well, at least it's down to these last two food cart vendors who recognize him as a regular. Would their wares be alright if they left them, was he sure? What if thieves took advantage of the crisis?! And he doesn't quite have the heart to break it with them the most legitimacy he could claim to any sort of authority anymore is as a Sanctuary aide that mostly just helps out the kitchen... which means he's aha, doing his best to smile and reassure them — "mn, I'm sure it'll be fine" — while trying to gently shake the hands clasping his goodbye so he can finally disengage. They really seem to want to keep wringing his hand though...
So he also looks a bit relieved when Lance comes up again as the two finally depart. Incredibly recognizable he always is, yes, though he's also a lot less strange-looking than before. No glowing cloak and mask, at least not since it became clear there wasn't an immediate danger, and a left arm that seems just like a left arm now instead of such a wicked claw. Well, other than the fact he's wearing gloves. Almost like that had been an illusion...?
But he seems quite brightened when he sees it's Lance again and gives a nod. ]
I'm just glad everyone was able to get out without being badly hurt. [ It's — not something he's used to or what he had braced himself for when he saw the smoke. Or... well. Let's enjoy the momentary relief before the reports of symptoms start to come in. This still beats an average day in his world. Let them have their brief window of thinking everything is going to be alright. ]
