Okay well...humans obviously don't live that long, so we sort of go by age. You're technically an adult when you hit eighteen and after that you can do whatever you want. Before that is a lot of going to school and listening to your parents.

On average I think you've got until you're between seventy and your late eighties which is a lot shorter than elves apparently.
