[She smiles, leaning in and it's subtle, the way she drags her fingers across the hinge of the hatch. It's easy for her; generate a charge, push it through the circuitry so it triggers from the inside. And it hadn't even backfired yet, which she's rather pleased about.

If he's paying close enough attention, he might be able to catch the brief flash of energy, white-blue against the dim. It's invisible to those inside the pods, but Steve certainly has a better vantage point to catch on to just how she pulls it off.]


There's a trick to it.

[Ava's never quite been a soldier, but she has something of the mentality anyway, raised as she was. She likes things simple: problems and solutions. The way that there are people all working toward that solution is something she hasn't really seen since the Academy, or maybe even Natasha and Alexei.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Landing was a bit rough, but nothing I couldn't manage.

[He gets a lopsided smile as she steps back, a shrug of thin shoulders.]
