He really appreciates it. Having ZerO before him really makes his slogging through this jungle so much easier. He will definitely have to find a way to thank his partner after this for all his hard work. Maybe he'll give half his pay to the man or make him dinner or...something. He'll figure it out.

But the fruit is before him. Still no sign of the cart, but he thinks he hears something muffled from behind a heavy set of vines. He reaches up for one of the fruits. He knows it's a risk, but it's one he has to take. He needs to know.

He just hopes ZerO will have his back if that dangling food happens to be bait. Which, apparently, it is. As soon as he pulls it, vines start speeding from everywhere and deeper into the jungle, just at the edge of his sight, a giant green maw opens wide on the jungle floor.
