u know the one..

[ it's back again, that silly schoolgirl rush of fondness and excitement. that warm, bubbling feeling in her heart. it doesn't help that prompto keeps giggling like an absolute buffoon, but after all they have been through this past month.. well, she supposes they deserve a little silliness, and some cloying sweetness.

more than the fact that she loves him, she is doing this because she is grateful. it is easy to love someone at their best, but prompto has seen her through her worst. he sacrificed his time and sleep, his well-being and very sanity to remain by her side, steadfast and loyal and dedicated. he cared for her while she was bleeding, hurting, dying, and even when all had seemed lost, he had still dared to hope, he'd had faith in her strength to survive. whether or not the stars aligned to bring them together - well, alisaie isn't really the sort to buy into that sort of mystical claptrap, but she does know that what they have been through together has.. solidified something between them. something worth acknowledging, and honoring.

that the shamans had chosen them randomly from a throng of passersby was happenstance, she is glad to make this commitment with or without their intervention. besides, it's not as if there aren't myriad benefits to being enhanced by the presence of the other.

and she's in too good a mood to roll her eyes at his exuberance, because let me tell you, after a month in bed, hiking up a snowy mountaintop feels like the best thing she's ever done. ]

Yes, actually, you could theoretically be capable of both. I can't say for sure, considering I've no idea how this ritual is meant to work.
