As far as I know she didn't. I don't know if she ever really existed...but there is a red hair queen who did who ruled one of the most powerful countries on Earth.

She was Queen Elizabeth the First. She never married and was called the Virginal Queen, for she said she was married to her country and duty. She was an incredibly powerful woman. Many thought she had to marry, that a woman wasn't fit to rule alone, but she proved everyone wrong.
