[ SO. It was a little while since the two connected, even longer since they met in person. Aranea had a soft spot for the kid, but she has to let him make his own mistakes. She's seen him around the network, so he's not dead or sleeping at least. That's good.

But, she reaches out after all is said and done with her pact. Turns out, he made one too! That piques her interest and an invitation was set for him to come over for lunch. She grabbed some sandwiches from a local shop and she definitely already has a glass of whiskey poured.

It's weird — this is the first time he'd ever see her be... well, casual? Not "all-business" Aranea. There's a knock at the door and instead of greeting, she offers a holler — ]

[ Prompto doesn't have to be asked twice to come visit Aranea and show off his brand-spankin'-new, legit-as-hell red mage powers. Honestly, he doesn't even have to be asked once, and it's a good thing she asked him over before his enthusiasm bubbled over and he'd wound up at her door, anyway. There's a few things he has to assemble, first - namely, Alisaie's crystal focus and rapier, two items that still look very out of place on her person, but whatever, it makes him feel like a badass regardless. He uses a sword now.

Sort...of. Not really. It's a work in progress.

Anyway, when he hears Aranea's call on the other side of the door, he throws it wide open without a second thought, walking in with something he would ascribe to "red mage swagger". All red mages have it. Ask anyone!

He's all grins when he spots her by the kitchen. ]
