Who: Mipha (fisherwife) & Mephisto (meinwaifu)
What: Mipha goes to check on her friends in cryo, has a chat with your friendly neighborhood demon
When: makes vague hand motions mutters about time being an illusion
Where: the stasis pods on the ship
Warning(s): Spoilers for Breath of the Wild eventually. ETA: Now also spoilers for the Champions Ballad DLC
[Mipha enjoys being busy, honestly. She may not enjoy seeing people injured or sick, but she likes the running around and helping people and watching them recover. She likes watching the shocked joy on the faces of patients who'd resigned themselves to a slow, tedious recovery and bedrest suddenly able to sprint around in minutes.
It's a good feeling, but it's exhausting. She's never been good at accepting her limits, but she can multitask. She tries to visit her friends and family still in stasis when she can, and she takes those quiet moments to rest and try to relax.
It's a little more difficult this time when a certain other princess has re-joined the ranks of those still asleep and the grief is very heavy in her chest. She knows when she goes to see the pods that Zelda will be among them again; part of her doesn't want to see it, doesn't want it to be real, and another part knows that she has to confirm it with her own eyes.
She stands outside the door to the stasis pods for a long moment gathering herself, before she finally shoves her way inside like she's being forced onward and pauses a couple steps inside.
The silence sees almost oppressive instead of welcoming this time around.]
