Maybe. Looking at all this everyday...

Mikazuki wouldn't understand the need to have all this — drawers upon drawers of papers and notes, information that's useful to who, exactly? Handing over the note frees him to continue rummaging through the current drawer, where the shifting of papers gives way to a gentle clinking noise of something else bouncing off the drawer's inside. ]
