Reinhardt watches with nervous anticipation. He promises himself that he won't be upset if it's bad news. At least not in front of Loras. The young man is trying hard for him. Fighting for him. He doesn't know what the young knight might be saying, but Reinhardt knows that whatever it is, he should be glad to have Loras on his side.
When the other returns, he braces himself only to be told that his young friend has a way with words and negotiation. His worried and saddened frown becomes a huge smile. If Loras weren't a Nightryder, didn't have a reputation to protect, Reinhardt might have hugged the man right then and there. Instead, he puts a hand upon his shoulder and murmurs. "Thank you for this." He means it too. Even if it's only this one more time, just getting let in once, proving that he's still no harm, it means the world to him.
"I promise you I won't make trouble. It's you that's on the line now and I won't besmirch your honor, Loras. I swear I'll be on my very best behavior and I'll make this visit short." He gives the younger man a look and then nods to the door. "You can join me, to make sure I don't do anything wrong. It might make the caretaker feel better to know I've got such an upstanding knight watching me for misdeeds."
That said, he's definitely walking to that door to give the man who had barred him entry a little nod. "Thank you as well. For caring enough about the little ones to think to protect them." Because he's not angry. Sad yes, angry, never. At least not yet.
