[It was a beautiful day to say the least. Although chilly and lightly covered in a thin layer of snow, the Southern Outpost was flourishing with tradesmen going about their work and small businesses making due. The sun was bright and there's was barely a cloud in the sky.

Phoenix himself was absolutely bundled up, a heavy coat and large scarf wrapped around him as he did his best to keep warm. He didn't want to get sick again after all, not after just recovering from the epidemic.

In his arms there seemed to be a box, covered in brightly colored paper and adorned with a bow. Seemed he was meaning to give it to someone. But for the moment he was simply standing by himself in front of the building which once held the gala. Fidgeting slightly both out of slight nervousness as well as a mean s to keep warm.

He would be meeting up with an absolute stranger after all, and he wasn't quite sure how the whole appointment would end up. What if this person was a jerk? What if this person thought he was a jerk?

Okay, he was admittedly a jerk some of the time but that's besides the point.

Now was a time for presents and he was eagerly keeping an eye out for someone that he did not know.]

but look, that's not the point right now. nope, the point is that right now, he's currently looking around trying to find the guy that he said he was going to meet. he settles on the human standing out there with a present in his arms.

[Phoenix was pretty's much zoning out, lost in his own thoughts when Garrus had approached him. So upon hearing his full name said aloud (That was his full name being said wright?) he found himself suddenly snapping to attention only to match the gaze of a rather interesting looking man beforehand him. Of course, he knew that the species of sentient beings in El Nyssa varied greatly, and were as common as magic was. But they were still, much like magic, a fairly new and foreign commodity to him.

So seeing the tall being standing before him and making direct eye contact left him with nothing short of wide eyes and a partially gaped mouth.]

O-oh, uh... yeah.

[Oh wow, how surreal. Just when he thought nothing could surprise him any more something new always happened.]

[Because if not that would make his situation all the more awkward for him.]
