So, he decides to say something equally deep back. ]
Uh - yeah. Word.
[ Wait, that wasn't deep at all!!! ]
Iiii mean - nothing is true. Everything is permitted.
[ fuck ]
A-anyway - yep! Can't wait to...get to officiating those marriages!
[ A few of the other priests are shooting him strange looks now, but fortunately a group of them split off down another corridor. Hopefully that's not the way the medical supplies are stored... ]

He was going for the more old-timey type of dialogue, but perhaps he's got it all wrong. It makes sense, since the people of Wyver are kind of rowdy. ]
Yes, that's always a wild time.
[ Which is true. He's pretty sure he saw a couple going to town on each other once before, considerably more PDA than the chase kisses that JJ is familiar with.
Awkwardness aside, he notices the way that the shamans are starting to file down the corridors, all of them armed with the knowledge of their tasks for the day and prepared to get to work. JJ's just glad there doesn't seem to be a big ceremony going on right now, so that he can wander around alone and unseen.
As soon as he ditches this guy. ]
So... guess I'll be going then. [ The fact that they've been hovering around for so long is probably suspicious. JJ just squints at Prompto for a second. ] Do you need any help? Medical help?

..............Yyyyyyyes. For my....bunions.
[ Gross. But these shoes are seriously uncomfortable, the priests probably have tons of problems with 'em!
He clears his throat, glancing away conspicuously. ]
Do you know where I could find some...nonspecific medical supplies?
no subject
But it looks like this guy plans to tail him. JJ's torn between lying and running the risk of encountering him again as he tries to snipe some of the supplies, and coming clean and trying to ditch him later on. ]
For bunions? That sounds serious. [ He'll opt for the middle truth. ] You probably require specific treatment, you've never sought it out before?
[ A question for a question, and maybe this guy will be able to give him some valuable information. ]
no subject
(He doesn't. His self-care regimen includes foot care, too!!!) ]
Nnnnnope, can't say I have! It's a...recent development.
[ So recent he might not yet be symptomatic?! ]

JJ just gives Prompto an uncertain look. But he's actually asked for help and JJ can't just leave him alone. Especially when he doesn't seem to have a clue about what's going on—it just wouldn't be very shaman-like of him. ]
Okay. Then just follow me.
[ He only has a vague recollection of where the medical supplies are stored from the last time that he was here, and the hallways are dark, eerily similar and seemingly leading to nothing but more darkness. ]
It must be hard to walk with those bunions... You can rest if you'd like, and I'll come back.
no subject
Ohhh, it's not so bad! You get used to it after awhile. [ ... ] But not so used to it that I don't need any bandages! Or...medicine? Guess I'm not all that familiar with how they're treated...
[ That part is 100% truth. But that's better, anyway. He wants to get his hands on as many medical supplies as possible. ]

Honestly, JJ doesn't know anything about bunions. He'd lost feeling in his feet after a year of skating competitively, but he just smiles like he has everything under control. ]
We'll get you fixed up in no time.
[ Except he's starting to have less and less of an idea of where they're going, and he hopes his apprehension isn't showing too clearly. Eventually, sounds start to echo from ahead of them and he's not sure if that's a good or bad thing. He doesn't particularly want to be found out as a fraud by running into an actual shaman, but neither does he want to get lost in the labyrinth with this random fellow. ]

Before they turn the corner, he decides to venture: ]
You sure this is the way? I, uh, really need those supplies!
[ He keeps going back and forth on this... ]
