It's a task she likely would have been able to do on her own had she really wanted, but her arms are only so big and the gears of her mind only able to spin so fast.
Enter: Ermes, her partner in crime (and bullshit) for the day. Cree had hooked them up with the proper attire but the rest had been left to them, cover story and all. (There'd also been a cryptic warning about dragon's blood, though she hadn't paid it that much mind.)
Yoruichi pulls the hood over her head, and chances a glance back at Ermes. ]

[ Infiltration isn't exactly up everyone's alley, but Ermes seems like she'd be up to the challenge.
The altar itself isn't too far now, stone pillars peeking out from around the edge of the mountainside in front of them. ]

[ ermes fucking hates priests, and religion, so she's of course determined to take this seriously... as a bad joke. she had to listen to the rantings of an insane priest before her world was swallowed up by the apocalypse, so really she can't do any worse than him.
she gets her hood up and takes a deep breath, trying to get serious. she's doing well so far and turns to yoruichi with a stone face look. ]
[ Little about the everyday in Wyver piques her interest. She's seen the same thing hundreds of times, over the course of hundreds of years, and for the most part it blurs together into one endlessly repeating scene.
The messenger birds are a different story, varied enough that she pauses to catch the details from the emissary, and to consent to hunting down the culprits behind the eradication. The birds are interesting to her, but more importantly they might be interesting to Kisuke, whenever he wakes his lazy ass up from the pods and finally joins the land of the (not necessarily living but) walking and talking.
She takes to cat form for this job, preferring the advantage in stealth and sensory gain the smaller form allows her. The trail is easy to follow once she leaves the city, an occasional press of her nose against the ground enough to guide her path whenever the physical feathers vanish from sight. It leads her to the fields by the dragon nursery, a place she's been to a few times before. She's not the only one the trail's attracted. The bushes near to her rustle, a noise too loud to come from any mere rabbit, and she tenses, waiting. ]
[Out of the bushes...comes Kaden! Fortunately for Yoruichi, he's not in his giant fox form, risking stepping on such a cute (or ominous looking) cat. Unlike Yoruichi, he's not following any trail strictly. He does squat and examine the ground, sniff the air a little, and keep moving...
...but he's also staring at his phone device, like he's following some instructions on it. And he is! Because he's taking this new job, and he's got this anonymous text, and wow it's a lot? But he's going to do the best job he can, and...ooh, a cat.]

[He squats about ten feet away, smiling and waving his hand. Come closer, feline friend.]
[ooc; I'm working with the idea that Kaden took the job, but they work together and report together? Since I don't think they'd take the job together, and Yoruichi would probably want the information he has??? I hope it works.]
