Though, really, a part of Sid has to wonder exactly why he bothered baiting her in the first place. It's not that he doesn't intend to punch her in the face for that, but also... what's the point? What's the point of her leaving him candy, or of him considering what he's going to do about it? Is it better to actually punch her, or... something else? Punch her, then the something else?
...Godsdamn it, what is she doing to him?
He's parked with his back leaning against a wall near the door, waiting for the telltale stomping to indicate her arrival, though he'll never admit to having waited for her. If he has to get the door, he's going to take his sweet time with it. She can wait in suspense for a few damn minutes for putting him through this, after all.]
