[ it is a huge wave of relief — this hasn't made him regress too much, hasn't done away with all the work that he's put into being better, here. she still doesn't know all the details of what happened to him, back home, but she knows enough. could see enough in the look in his eyes.

when he laughs, she lets out a breath of laughter, too. ]

I am not being very lady-like right now, am I? Arya would be proud. [ she pulls back, still smiling. ] I wish I could have been of more comfort to him. I'm sure you must know how worried he was. So were we all.

He's - [ Loras isn't sure what to say. He'd never say anything bad against Renly, but distress isn't something the youngest Baratheon has ever really dealt with. ] - Glad to have me back. He'd likely starve on his own.

[ There, a joke. Loras cracks a smile and ducks his head. ]

I was lucky to be trapped with friends. They kept me myself, through it all.

He is lucky to have you, then, [ she answers, half joking in response to Loras' jest, and half entirely serious. ]

... yes, having friends there with you must have been helpful. [ she imagines so, in any case — it's not like she's ever had any friends anywhere where she's been trapped. aside from Margaery, perhaps, and in the end, even her presence did very little to make her stay in King's Landing any more tolerable. ]

I am glad for that.

[ Fortunately, Loras doesn't think much on her comment about friends, or about the lack she'd had. He just smiles, humble enough. ]

I'm glad to have you visit. Though I don't think you came all the way to Wyver just for me.

I would have, even if everyone else was in Olympia.

[ she means it, too. ]

But you're right. Jon is staying with Her Grace, and I'm staying with them for a time.

[ It takes a moment for Loras to figure out who Sansa means, and when he does, his eyebrows raise but only for just a moment. It's hardly his business. ]

Well, Wyver is all the better for having you. Even if only for a brief time. Would you like to take a walk, perhaps?
