[ Percival seems uncharacteristically patient while he waits for Akira to finish his task. It isn't only that he doesn't have a great deal of energy to be as demanding as he usually is, but he has enough manners to not interrupt someone clearly invested in something.

And Akira seems to know a lot about this. He moves with the practiced ease of someone who deals in coffee for a living, which, given his limited knowledge about the boy, isn't really something he'd associate with him. He treats it like a craft, and so, Percival is satisfied enough to watch curiously and wait.

I wasn't aware you were going through the trouble for me. Thank you, Akira. You're a man of many talents, it seems.

[ He's alluding to the master thievery skills, of course. ]

[ It's equal parts concentration and stalling. He isn't sure what to say to Percival just yet—they were never terribly close; just a few months ago he would've been convinced the lordling was out for his blood. (At least it's nice to know he isn't anymore.)

He might not ever garner Percival's full approval, but whatever his current opinion is, Akira doesn't mind. He's glad to see him well and in one piece. ]

Neither. If your brew is as good as your technique suggests, it wouldn't do to mute the natural flavor of the coffee.
