Then could I perhaps interest you in a little snack? It would be a shame for all this to go to waste.
[And she gets a photo... of a body. Tastefully cropped but obviously covered in blood.]
no subject
ill eat it

When you arrive, walk in and immediately head to the elevators on the right. They should let you in without much hassle. Follow the hallway to the last room down the hall and knock three times, and I'll let you in.
[...the staff are gonna think he ordered a hooker, but this is fine. Better that than murder.]
no subject
or do you care if im naked
if i ruin another dress so soon solomon is going to get mad
no subject
[I mean, he doesn't care, but throw in Amaimon and it gets too weird, even if he also wouldn't care.]
Don't worry about it. I'll take care of the clean up for you.
And buy you a new dress myself if it comes down to it.
no subject
if you say so
ill need a bath after!
no subject
Did you think I would just turn you out into the street covered in blood?
no subject
anyway im coming
ill be there soon
[And true to her word, she arrives soon enough, knocking on the door three times as she'd been advised to do. She's dressed in a simple black dress for once. As much as she loves white, it'd be a stupid idea to wear white to a bloody dinner.]
/and the thread can split here!
[But okay, when she arrives, Mephisto opens the door as soon she knocks and greets her with a smile--]
[Also, he's goddamn covered in blood.]
Ah, Miss Diva, come in! Please, pardon the mess-- I haven't had much time to clean up myself either.
[Despite that, the hotel room itself is spotless -- either the murder didn't happen here, or he's cleaned up already. But laid out on the bed is the body of a man who looks pretty... gruesome. Or at least it must be, for Mephisto to have opted to cover his face with a cloth. His throat is slashed to shreds, but most of the arteries left intact -- but his vocal chords have been meticulously shredded.]
[But also they're not alone! Because Amaimon is here as well.]
Ah, that's right, I forgot to mention-- this is my brother, Amaimon. Amaimon, this is Diva.
[--and she's definitely nothing like the blood-thirsty human-eating creature he painted in Amaimon's mind when he described the person he'd be calling to help them dispose of the body.]

You have a brother?
[She wastes no time stepping inside, kicking her shoes off like a child would when they come home from school. It's nicer to be barefoot anyway. She pardons the mess, doesn't even care for it, far more interested by the stranger she's suddenly meeting and the body she can see laid out on the bed.
Amaimon...is interesting. He's not human. Neither of them are, despite Mephisto's half-assed lies otherwise. His hair is strange, ears pointed...but none of that really matters. As long as he didn't get in the way of her meal why should she care?
But she can at least offer the other boy a fanged smile before walking past them both. Sorry guys, she's hungry.]
Is this my dinner?
[Don't mind her as she wastes no time clambering up onto the mattress, only to straddle the body, a leg either side of the dead man's waist.]
It's pretty fresh.
no subject
he stops chewing his claw for a moment and glances over to diva.] Ah... nice to meet you. [it's a little stilted, like he'd rather do something else than talk. he watches her straddle the corpse and sniffs, looking to his brother for a moment with an unreadable look.]
Is this cannibalism for you?
no subject
[She's just about ready to lean down and take a bite out of the man's neck, only to pause at the question. There's a brief moment of silence before she's laughing, tossing her head back to look Amaimon's way, fangs glinting in the light of the fluorescent bulbs hanging above them.]
I'd have to be human for that to be the case, wouldn't I?
no subject
[he licks his lips when she looks back at him. she seemed pretty small and he wonders if she could really eat this entire body... it's definitely something he wants to watch and maybe when mephisto isn't looking he might take an organ for himself. too bad he obliterated the man's eyes with his claws or those would be fun to eat too...
thinking about it his stomach rumbles lowly.]
no subject
Turning away from him she focuses on the snack Mephisto went to the trouble to lay out for her. Her first target is the flayed neck and the arteries still contained. Sure, it might be a bit hard to suck the blood out since it's been some time after death set in, but she's always liked a challenge. Down she goes, hand on the man's covered face to brace herself as she sinks her teeth into his neck, biting down hard as she begins to attempt to drink from the corpse.
Mm. Yeah...it just doesn't work as well on a dead body, does it? Not to mention the man's head is getting in the way...
Maybe she ought to do something about that.
Her grip on the head suddenly tightens as Diva yanks it right off the body with one sharp movement, a sickening crack and tearing sound accompanying the action. With little regard for the hotel cleaning staff the head finds its way on the floor, tossed to the side. Almost immediately blood begins to pool and seep out from the severed spot and she eagerly puts her mouth atop it, greedily slurping it up.]
/splits this off
[When he comes out of the bathroom, he's blood-free and dressed down a little, only wearing a button-up and trousers. The carnage should be mostly over by now -- how's the glutton doing?]
no subject
Lazy is probably the best word to describe her current state of being, like a cat who's had too much cream. A nap is in order...but not yet.]
no subject
[Well, time for some clean-up out here, then! But for this Special Case™, Mephisto needed to put forth a bit more effort than usua;--]
[And that effort involved snapping his fingers. And in a poof of smoke, the body and every trace of blood left from it disappears -- even the stains in the carpet and bedding. Only the bone in Diva's hands is left, even her own clothes being cleaned from the blood.]
[...which did take a lot more effort to do than Mephisto would like to admit, but he masks it well -- sitting down on the bed because he totally wanted to sit, not because he felt suddenly winded.]
Well now, I trust that was to your liking? Admittedly, I wasn't sure what etiquette to prepare for in offering a human body as food to a lady like yourself.
[Though lbr it was more fun to watch her rip into the thing.]
no subject
First she looks under the bed, then gets up to run to the closet of the room, clearly looking for it. Just...what? Where did it go???]
It was good but where?! I'm not bloody anymore either!
no subject
Oh, you won't find your leftovers anywhere around here. A little trick like that is nothing for a demon like myself.
[Yeah, not even gonna pretend to play coy about it anymore.]
no subject
[Yeah. Just in case you didn't know.]
Are you a magician too?
no subject
[His magic is special, basically. But unlike with others he reveals his identity to, he probably won't tell her too. Nevermind that she probably won't care, but he can't trust her to realize she should stay quiet about it either.]
But you know, I still wasn't lying when I said my body is human. It was human, once upon a time. Until I took it for myself, at least.
no subject
You...took someone's body and made it your own? Why?
no subject
Of course, human bodies have their limitations... though we may live forever, our bodies won't. But it's a small price to pay in exchange for living on this side.
no subject
[For more reasons than one. Diva can't imagine existing as anyone else other than herself. She's quite attached to her appearance and everything that makes her who she is.]
no subject
[...]
[And let's just ignore the fact that he knows he died for real not even a month ago, which essentially makes him a very hard to kill mortal rather than a true immortal.]
