He drops one of the pans on the counter, and a flush creeps up his neck. ]

I'm supposed to have a baby. Not right now but eventually.

[ that makes his brows climb high. 'course it doesn't clear the pink from his cheeks. ]

Are you pregnant?

[ how old is she anyway... she seemed young, but roxy had pointed out that diva was probably older than she appeared. wait, how do vampires get pregnant, anyway? ]

_{[Roxy's hunch is spot on. Diva is a lot older than she looks.]}

Oh no, I'm not. I haven't mated with anyone before. Solomon wants me to have a baby but he hasn't found anyone suitable yet.

_{[Yeah...talk about an awkward conversation. Not that Diva seems bothered by it. As for the how...it's just like a human would.]}

[ that's a thing, right... with royalty... heirs and stuff. he's trying to be sensitive, okay. ]

_{[Oh Eggsy, what a sweet gentleman. She gives him a small shrug, pausing her swinging.]}

I don't really know what he's looking for. He doesn't like any of the choices I made though.

[ he tries to busy himself with cooking again, bacon sizzling in a pan, toast crisping, cracking eggs. it should be none of his damn business what goes on with diva and her lot, but she seems so young.

at least in some way, if not in age. ]

Why does he want you to have a baby?

[ seeing as it's not for royal purposes. ]

_{[Eggsy isn't wrong - in some ways Diva is quite stunted thanks to her upbringing and by virtue of what she is and what she's been through. His question is answered with a quizzical look of her own.]}

I don't really know why. I never really asked him why he wants me to have one, just that I'm supposed to.

[ He turns off the burners and starts plating their food. It's hard to drop the topic when her phrasing sounds so odd. She's supposed to have a baby with someone that this Solomon bloke picks, and she doesn't know why. ]

But you want to be a mum?

[ that's what matters, really. ]

'Cause you know it's a big commitment, right? Nine months of being pregnant, and then actually giving birth, which is pretty painful. Not to mention, taking care of the baby. [ the vampire (?) baby, at that. ]

[ Eggsy had been there when his mum had Daisy, only a few years ago. Her husband Dean had been too busy to show up for the delivery. More like to foot the bill. ]

Huh? Nine months? Having a baby hurts?

_{[Looks like someone didn't get the memo about that part. Welp.]}

his mouth twists into a frown. ]

_{[Solomon is definitely a creep. 100%]}

He never told me that. Neither did Amshel. I thought you just...made a baby and that was it.

I was there for my mum through it all, and it is so much work. Not to mention, my little sister's two years old, and she's still a handful.

[ even though he loves her dearly and would do anything to wake her up. ]

[ gently. ] You want to go take a seat? I'll bring over the food.

[ ah, he feels bad that this isn't cute breakfast chat anymore... what a morning. ]

_{[She slides off the countertop with ease, landing on her feet with a light sound. Wasting no time she moves to sit, pulling out a chair and plopping herself down in it. She's still kind of reeling a bit but the talk of babies as far as she's concerned doesn't have to continue. They can talk about sisters instead.]}

You have a little sister?

_{[She seems to brighten at that, reaching for her fork.]}

[ It's a full english breakfast (one of ten or so dishes in the Unwin rotation) and he sets it down in front of her with a smile. Maybe it is better to move past the baby chat... take things one step at a time. ]

Her name's Daisy. [ the smile becomes a full grin as he joins Diva at the wee table. ] She's an absolute menace, and yet still adorable. Bit unfair, really.

Like the flower?

_{[Once the plate is set before her she wastes no time stabbing her fork into one of the yolks of her eggs, watching with delight as it begins to ooze everywhere.]}

I like daisies. That's a good name. Did you pick it?

_{[If he did then bonus points as far as she's concerned.]}

I have a sister too. She's my twin.

_{[She's not sure whether or not Eggsy remembers seeing her in her memories. That whole experience was quite the fever dream, to put it lightly.]}

But she's older than me. I'm the little sister.

_{[By how many minutes or so Diva hasn't a clue. All she knows is that Saya's older and she adores her, despite everything.]}

[ she's so cute... ]

[ mostly by vetoing suggestions that weren't as pretty.

hard to say if he noticed Saya in Diva's memories, with how fast things went by and their visual similarities. The mention of a twin makes him think on it, though. ]

_{[She says it almost with a dreamy sigh, before picking up a piece of crispy bacon, only to sink her teeth into it with a crunch. It's obvious she thinks the moon and stars of her sister.]}
