[After their sparring match, she hasn't particularly reached out to Alan. He seemed like he was someone that liked his space, and not feeling particularly social. And between reconnecting, the council meeting, moving to Wyver, she's had her hands full with getting settled. But once she is settled- has a place to herself, and a job at the forge- she goes looking for him.
She's good at tracking people when it comes down to it; she was trained on how to hide, how to disappear. So she knows the tricks, her senses are sharper than most, and she has an awareness of electrical signals when she focuses. So while finding him is far from easy, it's not impossible when she puts her focus to it. It's not even solely out of curiosity, although she is a little vaguely interested in the fact that he still seems to be avoiding the city.
Mostly, however, it's the fact that her birthday is later this month. Maybe he's not the immediate assumption for who she'd reach out to for invitations, but truth is that there are very few people here she's close to. So instead, she's planning to use it as a mixer for people she wants to know better. And Alan certainly makes that list.
Everyone else on the invitation list, such as it is, she's just texted, but with Alan she wants to do it face-to-face. His edges are sharper, more like her own.]
