[ She... actually wasn't expecting the concession as used as she is to her back and forth with Ayeka. Ryoko blinks for a moment after that whatever, dusting herself off, only to pause for questionably timed recognition. ]

[ She may or may not be pointing. Actually, she's clapping and pretty pleased with herself for recalling her. ]

You're the girl from that time when people's personal memory theaters were happening! [ Right? ]

[ Ryoko actually takes a moment to rub at her chin before she recalls -- ]

[ There is no correcting being done here. Nada. ]

Yeah, I guess so. Imagine meeting you here, though! Is this your first time to Khalo?

Yeah. I figured it was about time I came to take a look at it. Before they wouldn't let you get near the Village so I wasn't about to chance it.

[I.E. she let others come here first to see if they just got skewered or what the heck was going on.]

The cautious type, are we? Well, you're in for a treat. Afew, really, depending on what you're into. Off the top of my head, I'd recommend the public bath and the library.

[ A beat. ]

Come to think of it, what are you into? I'm going to assume useless guys are out.

You could say that.

[At one point she wouldn't have been so cautious but after the kidnappings? No thanks. She snorts a little though and shrugs a shoulder.]

Actually I'm apparently kind of into semi-useless guys.

[She gets to be mean to Zuko and Kei Lo both because neither are here to refute it, right?]

Anything good in the library? ... I guess I ought to ask if you've been there first actually.

Really? I wouldn't have guessed it.

[ She chuckles, wondering for a moment. That question draws her right out of it, though. ]

As a matter of fact, I have! It's a pretty interesting place. The quills there record stories and the like from those who enter, so I guess you could say it's equal parts a history lesson, equal parts entertainment depending on what you're reading. Sometimes more the latter than that first thing, though. It's my first stop for sure!

Mmmm. It's more like they pick your brain! Couldn't tell you how they do it, though.

[ Not that she hasn't given it a few seconds thought, she could probably come up with some pretty accurate guesses if she really wanted to, but she's more concerned with the entertainment factor generally. ]
