[ She will... pat Diva's hair??? It's weird to do this, treating someone like a younger sister because she is still trying to get used to it. ]

I have some, yeah. I figured I'd end up sleeping over here one way or another. [ Aka be kept over late by Diva or have her sister beg for her to come over.]

Oh, good! I mean, if you didn't you could borrow one of my nightgowns, but it's good you planned ahead.

_{[Unlike her, who just runs into everything head first. Finding the nighty she wants to wear she places it atop her mattress, only to turn to Saya and grab her hand. She's gentle about it though, for once.]}

Let's go run the bath then! There are already towels there for us.

[ They'll keep coming as long as Diva stays good. ]

I haven't worn something like that in a while -- I mean, I imagine you have some fancy ones.

[ It's good that they're basically the same size and everything. When Diva takes her hand, she blinks a couple of times and nods her head. ] Lead the way.

You can always borrow one from me! We can match.

_{[Diva may not live in a castle but the little cottage she does share with Solomon is nice enough that she has her own attached bathroom to her room. She pushes the door open, squeezing the two of them inside. Maybe Saya should take the reins here though, before Diva pours too much bubble bath in the tub or runs the water too hot. Thankfully the tub itself seems big enough it'll fit the two of them.]}

All she wanted is to let her sister take the lead so they didn't get lost. It makes a lot of sense that Diva has a bathroom attached to her room. The High Life is one she gets to live after all. Thankfully, she will take over because making Solomon upset because there is a mess again isn't on her to do list. ]

It's been a long time since I've used a bath like this.

Diva has no qualms about letting Saya take over as she hops up onto the counter top for the sink, letting her legs dangle over the edge. The bath itself is pretty large, and easily the fanciest thing in the bathroom. It's a claw foot tub that can easily fit the two of them comfortably. Looks like someone really likes to soak.]}

It's soooo nice. I could live in it, I think.

Your skin will go bad if you do that.

saya pokes around the bathroom, making sure that everything they need is right next to the bathtub and that there are enough bubbles in there. ]

I think it's ready. It's nice and warm.

Huh? What really? No it won't!

_{[Why you gotta say things like that sis? She's about to protest and pry more, but the sudden announcement that the bath is ready has her hopping off the countertop and stripping without delay. Sorry if you get a dress in the face, Saya.]}

pulling the dress from over her head, saya can only sigh with a small smile on her lips and undresses herself. she will dip her toes into the water first before going on the opposite end of her sister. ]

It's been a while since I've had a bath in something like this.

_{[There isn't any hesitation or testing water with toes on Diva's end as she climbs into the bath and sinks down with a sigh of relief. Saya's comment does have her raising a brow once she settles down across from her.]}

Really? Please tell me you bathe, Saya. It's unbecoming not to.

_{[Says the girl who loves being messy...]}

Of course I bathe!

[ Her cheeks become flustered and she looks away from Diva, puffing her cheeks out as well. ] I'm used to traditional Japanese bathing which includes not being in a tub like this...

Oh. _[Blink.] That sounds terrible. I love baths...

_{[Too bad Diva doesn't know about onsen or she would be on that shit real quick.]}

It's not that bad. It's nice! Sometimes we go to a public bath and we get to relax with others, or I do... wash each others backs...

[ It's really nice, so nice that talking about it makes Saya miss being home. ]

I know you will, Diva. We can certainly wash each other back because there's no other way for us to be able to reach them in the first place.

_{[I mean, they could stretch and strain their arms, but it's a lot nicer to have someone else do it. A hum fills her throat as she considers Saya, content with her agreement.]}

[ assuming diva has never done this before. she doesn't know. did the others wash diva at all, or did she wash herself? it's a question she doesn't feel like asking just yet. ]

_{[There really isn't any hesitation as Diva decides to turn herself around in the bath, presenting her bare back to Saya for scrubbing. The gesture may not seem like much to an outsider, but knowing the decades of fighting the two of them had been up to and the very real threat they posed to one another...this really is a trust exercise of the highest caliber.]}

[ grabbing a sponge, saya doesn't hesitate when it comes to soaping it up. it's doubtful that diva is dirty given the way she gets to live, but she might as well give her a good scrub and add more bubbles to the bath.

the movement across diva's back will be a gentle one as she takes her time cleaning it. ]

_{[The satisfaction she feels as soon as Saya starts to work away at her back is almost instantaneous as she lets out a sigh and leans into the contact. It feels incredibly good to have someone scrub her down and her muscles respond in turn. Whatever anxieties that had been gripping her start to become subdued and melt away. It's so easy, just to get lost in the sensation of something like this.]}

Feels good...

[ there's a faint smile as she closes her eyes for a moment. this brings back good memories of her washing her brothers back, or at least riku's. ]

Yeah, it's nice. [ nothing beats a long, stressful day than hanging out in a bathtub and enjoying the warm water, the calming smells and being in there with a loved one. ]

I love you Saya...it feels so nice...

_{[It is nice...incredibly nice. So much so Diva finds herself leaning more and more into Saya's touch, to the point her back is almost flush against her sister's chest. There's a soft hum that slips her then, a melody Saya is familiar with, but there are no words. It's just in her throat for now.]}

[ as diva moves back, she will make sure to start cleaning other parts of her -- like her arms, upper chest, legs, just so they can maintain contact.t it's a little nerve wrecking hearing her hum, only because of what effect diva has had on her before, but this one is different.

it's familiar and soothing, enough to make saya close her eyes again. ]

_{[It's sad to think that this is the closest they've ever been to one another, physically and quite literally. For two beings with such tainted pasts and such animosity between them over the years, to be able to share a simple, tender moment together, it means the world to Diva.

The truth of the matter is that Diva isn't just attention starved, but affection starved as well. To have her very own sister showering her with exactly what she's been craving has her like butter in her arms.

The humming continues, akin to a cat's purr, as she sinks a bit lower against Saya's front, knees raising up higher as she does so. There isn't much room in the bath, but at the very least they're both the same size and not very large to begin with. They're snug.]}

[ that's why she will take this time to actually sit down and relax.

her chin rests on diva's shoulder and she'll just drape her arms over diva's body. it isn't like there is a rush for them to get out of the bath and this is relaxing. when was the last time she got a chance to relax like this? she can't remember. ]
