Who: Margaery Tyrell (
thekittenqueen) & Loras Tyrell (
triplerose)
What: A reunion.
When: Early October.
Where: Olympia.
Warning(s): TBD
[ Loras finds himself popping into Olympia a little more frequently these days. Not that he doesn't have friends in Wyver. He just feels that following everything this past month, he ought to check in on the ones in Olympia.
He's on his way to see Claire when he decides to detour through the market place. He'd like to see the weaponry, but knowing that an Olympia weapon wouldn't be well received, he distracts himself with the stalls peddling trinkets and the like. One cart in particular boasts fine flowers and fruits. Loras thinks he'd like to bring some for Claire, and Bree, so he begins to carefully look over them.
When it comes to roses, his eye is very discerning. ]

Emma had allowed her to stay in her home, but it was a temporary solution. She wasn't someone to mourn or linger over her losses, instead moving forward to do what was needed.
Slowly, she pushed herself outside more and more, watching the others and how they adjusted. While in the back of her mind, she knew that family could be in this world, it didn't occur to her until she saw Loras in the crowd. Her heart seized in her chest, a cold jolt of shock and feeling pushing through her.
She stopped, staring at him in amazement, uncertain what even to say to him after all that had passed.]

And yet when he looked again, Loras made eye contact. There was no denying it. At first he felt stunned, and he was certain that he looked it, too. Even as he moved towards her, he couldn't be certain if it wasn't a lingering ghost. ]
Margaery.
[ Saying her name was almost a question. Loras looked torn between smiling and frowning. Standing in front of his sister, looking down at her, there was no question in his mind at all. It was here. She was here. ]

It made her feel stronger to see him. While she had no pain or darkness, memories were not so easily to shed. The time alone had helped, but seeing Loras this way made it seem as though those days were far from them now. It was nothing but a shadow that passed.]
I heard you were awake.
[But she needed time, as much as a coward as it made her feel.]
Emma had allowed me to stay with her.

I had no idea you were - You must think me horrible, not knowing my own sister was awake.
[ Not that things have been easy since the last group had woken up. Loras doesn't blame her for needing time to process it all. He's just happy that she's come now, when he's the way he used to be and not still reeling from what the Sparrows had done to him. ]
You look well.

How could you know? I went from stasis to here without a word.
[The fact was, she hadn't wanted to be found for a time.]
I suppose sleep suits me. How are you?

[ The words seem to surrpise him, and he lets out a laugh. He doesn't remember the last time he felt so at ease. ]
I've been here some time, and it took a while to find my way. All things considered.
[ She knows, after all, that he was in a terrible place at the end of things. Assuming she's from then, as well, which is something else entirely if she isn't. ]
I'm a knight again, of sorts. And I've got my own training grounds. It's something like home, anyway. I've named it Highgarden, you know, it flies the banners.

You have always been strong. I am sorry that you had to find your way on your own.
[She should have been there to help him, to protect him as she always had. But perhaps it was for the better that Loras managed on his own? It seemed to undo the damage caused by the Sparrows, making him harder than steel.]
Grandmother would be proud. [She smiled, though there was little merit in holding such positions here. All of it had been for her family and their home. If they were told the truth, there was no home waiting for them.]
A king's guard?

[ He presents his arm for her to take, intending to take them away from the bustling marketplace and somewhere a little more calm and quiet. To the gardens, perhaps. ]
Have you not been to Wyver, yet?
