wade has happily moved into the stasis room on thesa station. ever since he found vanessa's pod, he hasn't wanted to leave her sight for longer than an hour at most. sure, he has the nice temporary housing down in el nysa, but why live down there when he can watch over vanessa up here? he still can't get over the fact that she's alive even if that means she is at a different point in the timeline than him. she is breathing and she is safe, and it's all that really matters.
it would be like 100x better if she was awake, obviously; but he'll take what he can get. this is enough for now.
so, he has managed to make the area in front of her pod pretty fucking nice and cozy. got a decent sized bright yellow tent for himself, a smaller red tent for boris and Who's Boris, you ask? Boris is my best friend and a crucial part of this story.

the point is, he has made himself perfectly at home in the stasis room. if anyone ever passes by vanessa's pod, they're going to see both the tents, a lawn chair and a drying rack to top it all off. he'll only ever wander off to get some food, use the little boys' room or do some good ol' fashioned exploring. but for the most part, wade is just gonna camp his ass right here because it's the only place he wants to be and the only place that actually matters.
he is sure doing a heck of a job moving on. Now, that's just uncalled for. )
👉 NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN
( just because he is currently living in the stasis room doesn't mean he hasn't thought of the future. specifically, his and vanessa's future. he is going to need to rake in the dough, so that when she wakes up, they can get a nice place together. he has a couple of ideas floating around in his head, but while he is finalizing his plans, he is going to poke his head in and out of different joints. there will be no business left uninterrupted, no open housing left undisturbed, and no unlocked door left untouched.
deadpool hasn't taken off his full body suit in front of anyone since he awoke here and he doesn't plan on it, so have his weird masked ass walking the streets of olympia and wyver like he doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. boris, his ever faithful goose companion, will be strapped to his chest in a baby carrier.
but look, at least he's a friendly weirdo. maybe he talks a little too much, but he's practically harmless. (ignore the pair of katana on his back. they're just for decoration.)
he is honestly only here to make friends, maybe land himself some jobs and, you know, accidentally invade a few homes. no big deal. 🙂 )

Why is it
( he chose the wrong fucking time to go on a food run. the marketplace is INSANELY packed. he feels like he's suffocating. maybe he is suffocating. poor boris is getting squashed against his chest as he tries to wedge himself through a horde of people. is there some kind of event going on? are they having a sale? did beyoncé finally wake up and she's out buying space fruit? what is going on here? ) Hang on, buddy. We're almost there.
( with one arm wrapped protectively against boris, deadpool uses his right hand to push his way through the crowd. it at least doesn't take long for him to spot the first stall on his list. speaking of, he should really take that out or else he's bound to forget something. rummaging through his pouches, his steps soon begin to falter until he comes to a dead stop in the middle of the street. sorry to anyone who is behind him because he is not budging. instead, he's pretty much about to let out a very loud— ) fUCK.
( he forgot his shopping list. ) I forgot the shopping list, Boris. ( well, whatever. ) We'll make this work. What do we need first again?
