(OPEN) I've got more right now than ever.
Who: Frank Castle (
bellare), a smol zebra & YOU (new characters more than welcome!)
What: Frank and Eris are apartment hunting!
When: Now!
Where: Various locations
Warning(s): You might get sassed by a dog-sized zebra so like, tread with caution.
Frank thinks it might be high time for him to move to the planet below Thesa. The recent chaos notwithstanding, the commute to Wyver is getting a bit taxing, and he's always liked having both feet on the (actual) ground. Though he's sure the room won't be much better than the one he has on the station, it will be better for Eris to have somewhere to roam around. (Her legs are much shorter than in the picture, her head only comes up to his knee.) He can be found looking for places in Olympia and Wyver though ultimately, the latter ends up being more understanding about his animal companion. Or maybe the places are just dumpy enough that no one cares. It's not like Frank has or can afford to have standards.
You might see him as well packing his room on the station, not that he has much to speak of. It's mostly clothes, ammo, and things he's accumulated for his new pet. He also keeps the rainbow eggshell that she somehow hatched out of in hopes of finding answers to that mystery someday. She's his new best friend even if he doesn't know her origins. Whether you meet up with them while they're shopping for housewares, moving in and out, or just exploring the land around their new apartment complex, Frank will be as reasonably friendly as always, if bland. But Eris will demand of anyone who looks her way, by rearranging her stripes insistently into the letters: HELP? followed by a hard beat of her hoof against the ground. Humans are so lame, they have to be bullied into doing anything useful, she's found.
[ i will match brackets so no worries, or if you want to plot something else just PM and we'll make it happen. ]

She has the decency to look a bit sheepish for helping herself to someone's companion, apology in her face even as she offers him a smile as well.
"I'm afraid I've only just arrived myself, so I've been doing much the same. I think someone I know lives around here so I was hoping to run into him, but it seems like a bit of a hopeless endeavor at this rate. Who might this little lady be?"
Don't think she doesn't notice that superficial smile, either. But Angela's always had an eye for people and their habits. Animals didn't often show their affection over obedience for people who were cruel, and despite his size, he looks like he knows how to be gentle with that bulk and a demeanor that gives away discipline. Her own is prim in comparison with the line of her back, but gentle enough in all other means.

It's bland considering how horrifying it was, but she looks no worse for wear. He looks from the zebra then back to her face.
"I thought Eris suited her." And him, if he's honest. Which he usually is, no reason to lie really, in a place like this.

She doesn't let on how disorienting it had been, or how the nausea had threatened to overwhelm her, or how scared she was for the others. How she's still not even certain that those she righted would be okay in the end. Maybe she hadn't hooked them up properly. That's a worry for another time, however. When no one else seemed to know what to do, all she could do was her best and hope.
"Were you involved as well?" Likewise, he seems rather at ease if that's the case. To be settling in so casually. But she's given a name and that effectively distracts her, giving the little zebra one last stroke and a scritch behind one ear before she's standing and brushing her knees off with a smile, tipping her head. "Would that be after the planet or the goddess even that was named after?"
She certainly doesn't seem like a goddess of discord, but perhaps she hasn't seen little miss Eris in proper action yet.

"I'm glad you're all right, then. And this little one too— miss Eris, you're taking good care of him, aren't you?"
She offers him her hand to shake.
"I'll give her a few; now I'm quite curious. And my name is Angela. I was the right place at the right time doctor on the ship, earlier. I apologize if we already bumped into each other. It was a bit hectic for a bit."

"It's very nice to meet you Angela. I'm the— I'm Frank."

"The pleasure's mine, Frank. Is there something special about this place I should know about, if I'm looking for lodging planetside as well? ...Besides the dragons."
One happens to mosey past at wearing some sort of lead, and she looks a bit wide-eyed. Clearly nothing she's used to. More importantly, however, she wonders how he'd been about to introduce himself. If she was the "right place at the right time" doctor, then who was he?
(The Punisher, dingus. Not that that means anything to her.)

"This is the place with the dragons, true..." His shake is gentle, but equally firm, and he pulls away before too long to push a hand through his hair. "It's mostly the weather, I guess. Some people take sides, but I haven't been here long enough to know all the differences."
Which further pushes the narrative that he's new here, and well. He is, relatively speaking, he's just not as shiny as she is.

It makes her smile.
"Right, I think I overheard a bit about factions... I don't think I could take the humidity if it's always this way. It reminds me a bit too much of South America's jungles. I'm a little too delicate for it. Deserts suit me better."
She definitely doesn't look anything like someone who lives in a desert. That and the accent? Way too European.
