[ Patrols are always fun, doing it in the evening feels like it's the best because she gets to come across so many people here. The district she's in has shows happening all the time and that means Lena gets to come across people of all ages excited for what they're going to see.

In her uniform, Lena looks like she fits right in here, talking to the children and making sure that they're having fun and then flirting a little with the ladies. It's all harmless fun, allowing her to relax and enjoy being alive in a place like this.

Her focus becomes distracted when she see's a familiar mask and within seconds, Lena is blinking over to Ana. It's been months since she last saw her and Lena had to be honest, part of her got a little worried because she had been seen her. Granted, there are tons of people here so it looks like fate has brought them together today.

Which she isn't going to complain about. ] Heya! Long time, no see -- I don't think I ever caught your name when we talked.

[ While Lena has been keeping an eye on things in the Theater District, Ana has been keeping an eye on Lena. It's not that she's worried the young woman will get into trouble in a place like this, it's just that - she's still working out the logistics of approaching her. Overthinking it, if she wants to be honest with herself. Hesitating. She had been lucky with the others, in a way. Even Reinhardt had known about her before she actually approached him.

Of course, in the time she's been dithering, the choice is made for her. Ana tenses briefly, but at least she's accustomed enough to Lena that she doesn't jump out of her skin. ]

There's a good reason for that. I need to talk to you, Lena. Will you come with me? [ She's not the most trustworthy figure, with her mask on and her rifle slung over her shoulder, but she'd rather not have this discussion in the middle of a crowd. ]

[ Oh no, this sounds like she's in trouble.

Kinda. Sorta. Standing up straight and wearing a somewhat surprised expression, she slowly nods her head. ] Yeah, I can do that. [ So far, Ana hasn't shown to be hostile towards her and yeah, the whole mask thing makes it hard to tell if she's a good or bad guy, but Lena is the type of person to believe in the best of others.

Unless she see's a reason to not trust Ana, she'll happily follow her. Granted, she is also being a little wary just in case something happens.

One can never be too careful. ]

[ Lena has always been one of the people who reminds her most of Jack, when he was younger, when he still thought he could change the world. A part of her would always wonder what would happen if Overwatch had been what they had wanted it to be, and if it had continued long enough for someone like Lena to move it into the future.

She walks toward an alley where they're unlikely to be disturbed. It's simple then, to unfasten her mask and drop her hands to her sides. ]

I didn't want you to find out while we were all still adjusting to this place.

Huh...?

[ She pushes her brows together before her eyes widen and she takes a step back. This is an unexpected turn of events and it shows on her face, shocked with a mixture of confusion. Not that anyone can blame her because, well, all the reports said that she had died.

We, she mentioned we. ] Amari... how?

[nanamari]

Old soldiers are hard to kill. [ She folds her arms across her chest. She realizes that this is the opposite of an explanation, but that can come later. ]

I am sorry that I couldn't tell you sooner, Lena. With everything that's happened... I thought it was best to keep an eye on you from a distance.

You would think that it would be the wrong way around. [ She laughs weakly, rubbing the back of her neck. It feels so nice to be able to see her again though and the warmth of love runs through her body. ]

That's okay -- I guess, I mean, it would have been nice to not grieve... but, I guess I can kinda understand.

[nanamari]

[ Ana would normally bristle at a comment like that, but it's Lena. She'll let her have that shot. ] You would think.

[ Ana nods. ] I hear you answered Winston's recall. Are you going to keep trying to bring it back here?

[quevalry]

[ Crossing her arms, she tilts her head to the side as her eyes glance down. ] I won't lie, it would be nice, but it will take a lot of effort and it's just me right now ... unless you want to help out.

[ Because that would be cool!! ]

[nanamari]

[ Ana opens her mouth, then closes it again. ]

I think it would be better if I didn't.

Yeah... I figured... so, who else is still kicking then?

[ Because if she's still alive then maybe some other people are still. It won't surprise her if there's a chance. ]

[nanamari]

[ Well, there's no sense beating around the bush on this one. ]

Morrison. You may have seen him already - he's been going by 76.

Strike Commander... Yeah... I saw him. He always kept his visor on and now it makes sense why he did that.

[ Her tone is somewhat sad and she feels her chest tighten up. Taking a deep breath, she lets it out slowly. ]
