Who: Sorey (
ofseraphim) & Mikleo (
circulets)
What: a homecoming
When: backdated to the evening of Mikleo's re-arrival
Where: House 13
Warning(s): nerdy shit
[ It’s been far too long since they’ve stepped through these doors together. Still, most everything within immediate line of sight should be relatively the same; no dramatic changes, even in three weeks. The hallway is still the same, too -- one room at the end with its door closed, as per usual. Sorey never sees Gaelio, (sometimes he even questions whether or not the man still lives here), so he’s been largely living alone, usually only returning home once he’s tired enough to go more or less straight to sleep. At the other end of the hall, to one side is Sorey’s room: A bit cluttered, a bit messy, more than obviously lived-in. To the right, Mikleo’s room: Neat, organized, and untouched, like a time capsule. ]
Look familiar? [ He inquires brightly as he pushes open the door. It’s tidy, yes; but the first experimental swipe of a finger over the nearest solid surface will pull up dust, leaving behind a contrasting streak of clean. Sorey laughs sheepishly at that. ] ...Sorry. Guess I probably should have dusted.
[ But part of him just didn’t want to come face-to-face with the fact that Mikleo had been gone long enough to warrant that.
...He really is a sap, isn’t he? He’s not about to improve that status whatsoever with what he does next, either. Slipping into his room and waving Mikleo in behind him, then: ]
Here -- there’s something I want to show you.

It's nice to see. When they both first came here, he could tell how worried he was - for Mikleo's sake, and other people sake. Though, he's seen none of that since he first got here. Though it may be a little selfish, he can't help but be happy that he was the cause of it - though it isn't as though he meant to make Sorey miss him or worry for him, either.
When he steps into the room, he can't help but look on - and feel his heart sink a little. It's like Sorey said, but it's... different to see it, to say the least. Knowing Sorey, he did it purely in hope that Mikleo would wake up soon... ]
... You didn't need to do all that, you know. But... thank you. [ He says quietly, softly. He means it - it hurts to see, but this is all the more reason for Mikleo to be thankful that he woke up. ]
... You want to show me something? Is it what you mentioned before?

Sorey’s in his own, (adjacent), room when Mikleo inquires. ]
Hm? Oh, no -- that’ll have to wait until morning. [ Then he’ll regale Mikleo with the story of finding a bit, bridle, and spurs magically in his room, along with a cryptic note. ]
This is something I found while out at work. [ He means exploring. That’s right -- he gets paid to explore, now; but only if he finds new plant life. Which, this is not that. What it is, however, is something that caught Sorey’s eye to the point where he couldn’t bear to leave it behind. Clutching it tightly in one closed hand, he brings it over. ] Come here, and hold out your hand.
