[ Haru was the smart one to get them involved with this. Her romanticizing sense of justice seemed to be perfect for this — she's like Robin Hood (better suited in this sense) by saving poor travelers from unfitting taxes. Unfair and illegal taxes. Ann wasn't wellversed in the contract but money was promised and Haru specifically asked for her help.

They're tied their horses up against the fence near the bridge and have now since gotten into their Phantom Thieves uniform. Ann doesn't see anyone around — not exactly pleased to see if people are ready to fight, but Ann keeps Carmen summoned for the time being just in case. She's eyeing the bridge carefully. ]

Okay, so — was there four or five? [ Three. ] The most we can do is throw our Personas and kinda scare them off? They're like ghosts, you know?

[ Little did she know someone may be listening. ]

[Will these random people even be able to see their Personas, she wonders? Haru's assuming yes - if they can summon them, they'll likely be visible. She's just never summoned hers outside of the Metaverse before.]

Carmen and Milady look rather intimidating, so if we keep ourselves hidden, just the sight of them might scare them off for today. But we'll need to make sure they don't come back and try this again tomorrow, too.

[Haru hums as she considers it.]

Ummm. I've never done it, but how hard can it be?

[ Spoiler: really hard. She isn't going to really put herself at risk by lying. Faking is usually a forte for her — improvising when she needs to most. ]

Especially w-when Carmen's smoking and — does Milady even have a mouth..?

[So, no mouth! But she can talk, so of course it's going to be freaky if it seems like the weird, giant women are talking even when there shouldn't be any physical way to do so.]

I suppose she's almost like... what was it, the Headless Horseman? Only in this case, she wouldn't have a horse.

I mean, the horse isn't the scary part. It's the — uh, lack of head. That alone is the freakiest part!

Good. The more frightened these men are, the easier it will be to convince them to mend their ways.

Haru never thought she'd see the day when they'd be using their Personas as ghosts, but here they are, doing it.]

Then — game plan, you bring out Milady first. That's got to be the most ghost-like one. Then Carmen can give them the last spook needed if they're still adamant about being dicks.

[ A giant salsa dancer?? Flames of redemption? Fire of revenge? She thinks poetically here. ]

[Surely this is a great plan and nothing will go wrong! ...where's their strategist when they need one...

Haru nods, the beginnings of a mischievous grin on her face.]

That sounds wonderful to me, Ann-chan. On the count of three, then, shall we?

[ Like that would even make sense?! Ann winces a bit, but she's ready to go. WHO COULD INTERRUPT THEM...? ]

I wouldn't be worried about that if I were you. We're much stronger than them, don't you think?

[Like, have those crooks ever fought Shadows? Haru doubts it. Sure, they need to go easy on them a little so they don't actually kill them, but what's the worst that could happen?

...okay Haru doesn't want to think about it.]
