[ Setting so far: Finding the starter housing too small and too open to the general populace, Zevran moved out of house #4 and into an apartment with his co-worker at Shades Darker, Venom. Somehow, Rhys, Abelas and Jyn opted to move in right next door. Shenanigans ensue! ]

Oh come on. You're kidding, of course you know what a hen is. We are literally eating one for dinner right now.

[ Rhys wiggles a fork at her with, lo and behold, a piece of cooked chicken stuck to the end of it. But see? Look at him, being sport enough to let her try and wiggle out of admitting she likes him. ]

If you're going to bluff at least pick something that isn't in the same room. Kiiind of gives the whole thing away.

Well unlike some people I don't feel a need to hide when I genuinely care about someone's well-being. I'm not shy about it.

[ And Rhys goes on to puff up all proud of himself, like admitting he has feelings is some huge accomplishment it is though considering how things were back home at Hyperion ]

[ She returns her attention back to her paper, though the smile remains. ]

[ AWWW JYN......that's so roundabout?? But still progress and Rhys actually looks briefly surprised. Then the looks melts into gratitude and that dopey expression he gets whenever he's sentimental. ]
