[ In the story so far, one of the bedrooms has been claimed by Jyn and Abelas, while the other hosts Rhys and Zevran.

Now let's skip to the part where Rhys gets locked out for hogging the loo. ]

[Heck yes, bonding. They will bond if it kills them. It might kill a couple of them.

Abelas' mug he nudges toward the correct side of the table, being that he's too far to actually hand the mug off, and also because it's up to him whether or not he participates. And then he rolls the liquid around the inside of his own cup, takes a sip, and then hums. Not too bad.]

[rhygret]

You're...unbecoming. So.

[ Rhys flounders a little, and settles for crossing his arms over his chest in a huff. ]

There.

[ Nailed it. He definitely didn't sound loserly there. ]

[He'd address the invitation in a moment, first he had to give Rhys a very disapproving look, just to make certain he was aware that he was being judged... and then keep it on him long enough to make him uncomfortable.

Alright, now onto more important matters, such as the drink. He considers it for a time, then gets up and pulls up a seat for himself, accepting the drink. He even gives Zevran a nod in thanks.]

[ She cradles her mug of wine close with both hands, looking at the liquid for a long moment before breaking the silence. ]

Is this where we attempt to get to know each other? [ They'll be living together for a considerable amount of time, at least. Her mouth quirks, not quite a smile. ] Like in the game on the network.

[ She is, in fact, referring to Lance's birthday post where everyone played "Never Have I Ever." ]

We could, though I admit I'm still not entirely clear on the rules of that one.

[He's been wandering for the past few days--this won't last, and they'll have to find other accommodations eventually. Best to start looking now. Incidentally, that's also how he "found" the wine.]

[ Yep, that stare sure is uncomfortable. Rhys is glad for the very abrupt change in topic and turns his attention from Abelas to Jyn and Zevran. ]

Wait, you mean that "never have I ever" one? From a few days ago?

[Abelas reclines in his seat, draping his arm over the back of his chair. Drinking wine from a mug was a special new low, but it was wine. Been litteral ages since he had any. He wasn't going to complain.

He didn't answer for now, the other elf had already inquired about it, and if he hadn't heard of it there was no chance Abelas would himself. He was willing to listen though.]

[ to Rhys, a little more enthusiastic than she normally is about, well, anything: ] Yes, that one!

I'd like to know who I'm sharing a residence with.

[ short time or not, she needs to know if you're going to kill her in her sleep. ]

[ ...Well, Rhys isn't usually one for drinking or party games like that (not since that one Torgue kegger), but if it's something that Jyn actually sounds into Rhys can't exactly just party pooper it up even with his sour mood. She's rarely into...anything, from his experience.

So Rhys uncrosses his arms and turns to Zevran to quickly explain. ]

We take turns saying things we've never done before. If you've done whatever it is they haven't, you take a drink. It's a good way to get pretty out of it, really fast. Buuuut yeah, it'll also do the "getting to know one another" thing too.

[He's in the middle of a sip when Rhys starts talking, and by the end of it, he's got one eyebrow raised, silent for a moment. He looks down at the dark bottle, up at Rhys, then down into his cup. He smirks.]

I think we're going to need more wine.

[Why yes, he did imply he's more experienced than you.]

I'm not opposed, however. Who's starting?

[He takes a moment to consider participating. It was a foolish trivial thing, but Jyn seemed pleased about it, and there was likely some amusement to be had from it.]

I feel I am at a disadvantage simply for the pool of my years, but very well. I shall participate.

[And he waves his hand to dismiss being the one to start.]

[ A smile spreads across her face, small but warm. For a moment, she regards each man in turn, as if to asses how best to begin the game. She can't remember the last time she indulged in something like this.

Start small. Start easy. ]

Never have I ever used magic. [ She looks to Rhys, canting her head. ] Right?

[ Did she do it right? ]

[ Oh, Jyn. There are no words for how much he approves of that opener, mouth quirking into a pleased smirk as he crosses his arms around his drink and doesn't sip.

His world ain't got magiccccc. ]

[Either way, he's abstaining.]

[He let out a sigh and gave Jyn a look. That was directed at him. He knew it. But he's a good sport and tips back his wine glass. He supposed it was his turn to ask this lot something.

He just had to... think of something he hadn't done in his past that wasn't oddly specific. Oh. He knew what to do.]

I suppose it is my turn then. Never have I ever spent more than an hour in the bathroom preening myself.

[He's looking at you Rys.]

[ Abelas u fucker. Rhys sends him a Look for that but makes a show of staring at the elf as he takes a drink--but not without first saying: ]

You know there is nothing wrong with looking after yourself or your appearance, for the record!

[insurgent]

[ No sips here yet, but she laughs because targeting Abelas somehow rebounded to Rhys!! What an astounding turn of events.

She tips her drink to Zevran. ]

If the weapon is magic, you used a magical weapon, which is using magic.

[ Because she said so. Also, your move, Zevran. ]

Hah! So two for me, then. [He'll take that penalty, and think about what all to challenge people with. It's...a short list.]

I think one's pool of experience deepens upon coming here. Hm... Never have I ever...been on a space vessel that isn't Thesa.

[Well he was safe this round. He waved a hand gesturing for them to move on from him.]

The Elvhen may have mastered travelling across Thedas, but the stars were not of their concern and thus nor were they mine.

[ ...Goddamnit. That's another for Rhys then. Hyperion counts, and probably so do all the waystations to get there along the way. That's two drinks for him now, and Rhys is determined to keep Abelas's score above his own.

If Mr. Cotchy wants to play dirty, Rhys will play dirty. ]

Too bad. And unlike some people I've never thrown anyone out of bathroom before and locked the door after.

[ Targeting each other, she means. And she has only drank but once, so hah. ]

[He takes a sip and takes a moment to think, counting things off on his fingers, under his breath.] Hm, no. No. Oh, there was--wait, no. Let's see...

[They just started, he doesn't want to break out the heavy stuff just yet, and a lot of his (short) list are things he's pretty sure none of them have done either. World-specific, if you will.]

I suppose the reverse would be simple enough, but a bit unfair. Never have I lived anywhere with a "public library."

[Well, that was three for three for him. The downside of being immortal, but that could be his advantage as well.]

[ And he's definitely going to be a little smug-slash-proud of that because that is how the future works okay. But he...takes a drink for both the library and the falling ill nevers. Books may not be the big "in" thing anymore in the digital age but public libraries? Still around. Even if they hold more ECHOs or digital records than paper these days.
