[ A situation going from bad to worse should be relatively familiar to Leanne, but that doesn't save her from the overwhelming amount of surprise that hits her when news of the explosion finally surfaces. She of course experiences concern for who may be close to the blast, and then is immediately taken aback when the announcement that included her name also rings through.
Undoubtedly there's an explanation that needs to be made. But given her wavering trust there's no way for her to turn herself in, especially when she's being accused for a crime she didn't commit.
Though her luck continues to be a distant thing as the podcast is made when she's trying to make herself back to her apartment. Taking the back streets in hopes of avoiding those who are fully prepared to round up those accused without hesitation, she knows a little silver is enough to motivate anybody. So when she's peering around the next corner and makes blatant eye contact with another person she immediately shrinks back. Way to go, girl, hopefully they didn't notice? But if they did... maybe if she acts normal then they could go on their way without there being an unnecessary bump in the road.
Or not. She's a little glad she left the house with better shoes to run in today. ]

[ So are you trying to help her get from point A to point B without getting noticed? Great, you're a pal, and Leanne's got the greatest idea known to man: by acting like your terribly non-suspicious girlfriend! With an oversize jacket on her shoulders with the hood pulled up on top of her head she's pretty much the definition of ominous. And while she wouldn't say that she is some sort of award winning actress she does at least try to make the plan of her pretending to be your sick significant other work somehow.
Leanne keeps a hand firmly around the other person's arm. Holding onto them tightly as a heavy weight of anxiety rests on her shoulders. ]
I'm kinda surprised that this is working. [ Oh! Someone's looking, she pretends to cough. ] But I'm glad... sorry for dragging you into this.

Well...it only looked fun. It was super bumpy!
[ And there were weird people in her carriage!!! The implications of Leanne's words rise her suspicions again, but she lets no accusatory tone fall into her voice, pretending to focus hard on her feet rather than look at Leanne's expression - as if to make it seem less like she was interrogating her. ]
You must've gotten to Wyver another way, then...?

I'd take a bumpy carriage over having to walk that far ever again. Though a friend of mine did at least give me a ride on his back after awhile, a real gentleman. [ Sarcasm at its finest, folks. Men suck.
And they make it soundly off the bridge with no one falling or making a completely embarrassment of themselves. A wide smile appearing on her lips as she finally lets go of Misa's hand. ]
But I'm glad to see that you're still healthy! A lot of people have gotten swept up in this illness so I was a little worried you would have caught it, too.

[ That must have taken days, if not weeks. Her concern is genuine, mostly because even thinking about walking for more than 40 minutes makes her own feet hurt, and she shifts to give Leanne a complete once over once her hand is released. ]
Misa stays away from sick people. [ They're so yuck!! ] When I saw heard your name on that list, I thought something might have happened to you too.
[ She chances bringing it up directly, wanting to gauge Leanne's reaction by her own eyes. It was one thing to see the other accused refugee's actions on broadcast, but if Misa's learned anything being in the entertainment business, it was that all broadcasts can be faked. ]

I wasn't going to let them just drag me around. Not when I— we [ She correct herself; no one that they were pointing fingers at had any intentions of causing this. ] did not plan any of this out. We were tricked by that suspicious man and I guess because they knew they could, they pointed their fingers at us to take the blame. That scumbag did us all dirty.
[ And she makes sure to put a large emphasis on the word scumbag. Brows furrowed and tightly knit together, fingers curling into the palm of her hand before being released seconds later. ]

But all Leanne gets is her deepened worried look, almost seeming fussy and clingy. ]
That's awful... I'm sure a lot of people thought of you the wrong way. [ yea like urself u snake ] But at least it got cleared up, right? And you're not in trouble?

I mean, it's understandable, I didn't really explain to anyone the situation beforehand. And it's also my fault for taking such a shady job in the first place... so I'll at least admit my fault in that. Everything else? Unlikely.
[ And on that last part she pauses, sighing as she shifts her weight from one foot and to the other. ]
I guess after the explanation from the other two I'm not, but I don't think I'll go back to Olympia any time soon.

Huh? Really? [ That's surprising. Though she supposes it would be hard to return to a place you were exiled from, even if you weren't in trouble. ] Do you like Wyver more than Olympia? Misa isn't sure if she likes it here yet...
[ The humidity? Wack. These long confusing bridges? Wack. me? im tight as fk ]

It's just... [ She takes a quick glance around, ensuring that no third parties were nosing their way into their conversation. The last thing she needs is talk about the station spreading and her making another target on her back. ] You know about the virtual simulations back on the station, right? Well when I first got here I did it, too, and while I was in there there was a Wyvern man I came across. He told me not to take everything they say at face value; and considering how they responded to having to come her for help?
[ Hostile. ]
We hardly know anything about the history of this place but we're already being made to pick sides. I just don't think it's fair of us to paint Wyver as such a terrible place when we hardly know who the people of Olympia are.

I guess it is a bit weird that they were hesitant to accept help when people could be dying... [ The longer she thinks about it, the more she thinks that she should have pieced this together herself. ] But Misa doesn't think either country can be good or bad.
[ Everywhere had evil inside. So the whole "pick a side" business was something she was somewhat ambivalent to. Some could be worse than others, no doubt, but her moral view of the two countries goes deeper than her superficial needs. ]
Did that Wyvern man say anything else?

[ Though she shrugs her shoulders at the last part. ]
He was going to say more, but all of a sudden the VR system cut off. I don't know if that was supposed to happen or the perhaps something went wrong... but before he could finish I had a screen of text telling me that I was empathetic and willing to learn both sides. And that's what I want to try doing.
