[ Nobody carries weapons like those unless they know how to use them. Bruce glances over them in curiosity, working over how they might disassemble, what kind of bullets they use. He's not fond of guns for more than practical reasons: it's too easy to disarm an opponent, and they jam. ]

[ He takes a stick the same size as Peter, and doesn't ask if he's ready, just lunges. ]

That said, this isn't the first time something took a sudden shot at him. Peter manages to get the stick up, wood clacking against wood with enough force it sends shocks up his arm, before the other dude catches him in the chest]

[ Quick thinker. Good, he'll need that — Bruce holds back enough not to cause broken bones. He's aiming to finish a first round pretty fast: never hurts to act quickly, and never hurts to give an opponent a proper look at what they're asking for during sparring. ]
