We have our own excitement.

[ A touch of wryness — he wouldn't be surprised if there were, honestly, doors leading to places no one speaks of. Missing people and children who fall into those gaps. No, Gotham is enough without them, and magic is something he has yet to understand much. ]

Swords again? Or hand to hand this time?

[ While he would not hesitate upon doing the latter, he will not be as good as he is at wielding a sword. It's why he's here in the first place. ]

[ A test, and it's why he's here anyway. Bruce doesn't expect an amateur, but he wouldn't mind a quick learner either. ]

[ He demonstrates a stance, expecting Edmund to follow. ]

[ Edmund is a good student, if he puts his mind to it. A problem in his youth, but not as much now that he's older, wiser, and stronger. Bruce is most definitely better, but Edmund catches up to him at opportune moments.

Though of course, there's room for improvement. ]

[ Vigilante wouldn't stand out so much, amongst this crowd, but Bruce has everything of his tied in secrets. ]

[ Edmund's guards were centaurs, mostly, and most people wanting to attack him on and off the battlefield wouldn't have been able to reach him before they'd get kicked in the chest for their troubles. They trained mostly in weapons, while the other creatures used their own god-given advantages outside of swords and bows.

Edmund mostly had to learn, so he doesn't have to worry about himself if he ever lacks for a weapon, so his movements mostly convey a knowledge of self-defense. ]

[ He huffs in soft amusement, an if only they'd agreed. This imaginary employer of his quite comfortably fits any spoiled, selfish person one might find across the world. ]

How often would you like to meet for sessions?

Twice a week, perhaps. More if time permits, if you are agreeable to it.
