[ A comfortable position still is one where she has the advantage, it seems. It's a good thing Diana isn't here to see this, or Bruce would no doubt never be allowed to live this down. ]

[ She does get the ruffling she wants. Bruce's touch is sure, playful even, as his fingers card through her fur from the back of the ear down to the tail. ]

You like that. [ The smile is playing about his eyes. ] Careful, or I'll be at this a while.

[That wouldn't be the worst thing, would it? There's temptation to not heed his light-hearted cautioning, and for a little, she doesn't—basking across him with her rumbling, large canine's groans.

Not until, turned to an attention-loving jam, she's nearly tipping to expose belly does she catch herself and mind him better. It's just too early in to yield completely! She goes upright, still partially laying on him, and gives him a growl that loses all its weight by grading into a long whine.
