This post is open to anyone and everyone and you don't need to have responded to his IC post in order to play. Just tag in and have fun! The original OOC post can be found here!
As a note my timezone is JST and it's a little wonky, so feel free to just boomerang away and I'll do my very best to keep up! I'm posting this a bit early but I'll be around after a quick trip to the vet.

Welcome to Bunkers & Badasses!
This post will be broken up into 3 sections
The Meet & Greet will be for all your general mingling, arrivals, drinking, trolling, and B&B character introductions.Again, knowledge of how to play D&D isn't necessary. This is for fun and very bare-bones, so most of what Rhys will be doing is telling you how the environment/NPCs/monsters react to what your guys' character do! And also what they do themselves ICly...OOCly god that's going to get confusing. Basically just HAVE FUN, fake your rolls, cheat, threadhop, create your own starters, go wild! There is no established tagging order and I'll have Rhys drop into threads as necessary.
The Hook will be Rhys's start to the adventure where your characters begin playing as their characters and yes, it's as nerdy as it sounds. Goof off as much as you want here!
The Adventure will be the meat of the campaign where...basically anything you want happens! Combat, seduction, critical fails...all from the safety of your nerd dungeon. Want to fight a dragon? A band of orcs? SENTIENT ROCKS? This is where you want to be.
Wildcard: That said, you don't need to just use these prompts! You are free to make your own headers and starters at any time with stuff that may or may not be related to any of the above. You also don't need to reply to any of the above as a direct response; you can use them to launch your own prompts in those sections if you'd like!

[Said the creepy looking faceless helmet guy. Yeah there's some. Real interesting folks around these parts. Sup]

[...the helmet is a little disconcerting. The strange cadence of his words, too, but Linneus can't put his finger on why...]
I am quite clueless, I assure you. I'm still not sure I understand how the game is played, only dice are involved? I'm sure I shall have many questions as we play...
[but the best way to start is surely to get one's feet wet. The questions... they can come later.]

The best way to learn / Is to jump right into it, / Watch what others do.

The advice is quite sound though, and he nods]
That's what I intend to do, thank you.
[the reinforcement is more than welcome. Glancing down the table-]
Should I have prepared something? Everyone else seems to have papers...
[some have brought notebooks, most, at a bare minimum have brought character sheets, and Linneus doesn't even have that...]

[Today is Linneus's lucky day, Zer0 totally has a spare character sheet. Actually he probably stole it from Rhys but whatever, still counts. Zer0's gonna scootch on over to Linneus and stick it on the table.]
Use this to keep track of stats, / Just fill these parts in.

[some of the fields are easy enough - character name, race, class, he covered that before when he talked with Rhys. But the more he looks over the sheet, the more he realises he has no clue what anything means. Are these three-letter words actually words? Abbreviations? He traces them with his finger tip]
I don't know what these mean.

Character attributes. Strength, intelligence, wisdom, dexterity, constitution, charisma. Before a game, you're given a few free points to put into attributes to start your character off with. For a cleric, focusing on intelligence and wisdom might be a good place to start.
[How many points did Rhys give them, WHO KNOWS. We'll just wing it.]
