[Wearing his stupid vigilante outfit, Matt's stalked the streets of Olympia, searching for the criminals responsible for the virus and aiming to keep the fugitives safe. He's done this despite his rapidly deteriorating health, the blank spots in his memory, and the fact that his body is going completely to shit. He's a stubborn guy. He isn't about to give up.]ii -> evacuation -> phase 3 -> obligatory manpain (tm) prompt;
[In fact, he's parkouring through the streets -- close to where you are -- if you're a fugitive, it's to usher you to safety, if you're just taking a stroll, it's to make sure no one unsavory creeps up on you -- or perhaps you're the shady one. Regardless of the situation, despite his gumption and perseverance, his body is not having it. One screwed up jump, and instead of landing beside you, he lands --- straight into a dumpster, with a loud yell of pain]
[You can.... help him out, or leave him there, or laugh, or any other options, but one thing's for sure: he's where be belongs]
[So, Mr. Vigilante isn't having a great time! He's refused and balked at medical treatment, Determined to Press On and find a cure, protect the vigilantes, fight crime, yada yada. The problem is? This disease is escalating to far out of his control, and along with that comes very vivid hallucination that take our intrepid dumpster fire completely out of his depth. Unfortunately for you, you happen to be in the vicinity of him while he's having hallucinations, and while he may look like a lunatic (moreso.... than usual.... in this getup), they feel very real to him. So, you catch him:]iii -> evacuation -> phase 3 -> angry mad;
[a; reliving his father's death -- complete with a grown ass man sobbing and beating his his fists against the wall, repeating---]
Dad, no, dad! [---over and over again, it's really kind of pathetic. If you try to touch him, he'll protest, tears streaming down his face, ineffectively fighting this wall]
[or b; -- he's trying to stop you from leaving, though it's pretty weak and easily brushed off. Still, he's reaching out for you, voice cracking--]
Foggy, I'm talking to you, just listen-- Don't walk away!
[or c; - whether or not you're actually a woman, he seems to think you are, a woman he is currently romancing (oh my) and he's reaching out to stroke your hair gently]
May I? [aaaaand he's leaning in for a kiss, think fast! (he's easy enough to pull away from or shove away, though)]
[So, this sick ass idiot is supposed to be evacuated by gryphon -- since he's sick and all. But, unfortunately, this guy has no intention of going. Or cooperating. Because one of the symptoms is heightened aggression, he's going wild. At first, it might be easy to miss, considering he is a vigilante who beats on criminals pretty brutally and all -- but it's quickly escalating out of control, to the point where he's attacking anyone who comes across his path]iv -> evacuation -> phase 3 -> busybody syndrome;
[including you]
[either a; he does his best to grab you by your arms and pin you against the wall, growling--]
Where is he? The man you work for? Give me the answers I need, and I won't hurt you.
[Or b; he shoves you behind him, instead focusing his aggression on another bystander]
Fisk! [he shouts, at said bystander, who is incredibly confused, for the record] I won't let you hurt any more innocent people!
[You could intervene, or, uh, just popcorn.gif]
[After all the hallucinating and the rage against the machine... ning has winded down, Mr. Bad Decisions is continuing to make even worse decisions than before. He's no longer in costume, now, but rather his normal lawyer self, and there's blood dripping from his ears and nose. Despite that, the bastard presses on --- and his priority seems to be evacuating people. Even though he can barely stand, himself, and looks severely dehydrated, he's wobbling his way over to anyone who seems as though they might be struggling, even just a little. It's pretty pathetic, coming from an already blind man.]wildcard;
Come on, need to go -- I know you're scared, but they have the materials for a cure. We can't waste time now.
[his tone is soft, but the idiot sure looks like he's going to fall on his face any second]
[want something else? or your own special prompt? or a custom one? just hit me up!]

[This is not the best of days. It's not the worst of days, either, but it's pretty up there. As such, his reflexes are dulled, even with adrenaline, and Majima's strike hits, knocking him back with a loud grunt]
[But Matt's one persistent devil, even half-dead with sickness and madness. He's slower, sure, easier to dodge, easier to hit, but he won't stop.]
[He surges forward again, aiming to grab Majima this time,]
I said--- [----and throw him to the ground. If it connects. His voice is a low, gutteral, but obviously strained growl--]
Who do you work for?!
[his Batman impressions could really use some work]

His hesitation to further beat on someone that might give him plague lets his attacker get a hold of him, but Majima wraps his hands around the arms pushing him with bruising pressure. The shove isn't quite strong enough to topple him, but Majima pulls him down; it'll at least get the guy stuck in one place. He's strong, but right now he's moving like he doesn't know what to do with any of his body's power. Majima doesn't feel too bad for him, and barely feels his back crash against the ground. Instead of reacting to that, he rears his head back before slamming his forehead into the man's face.]
I'm a bartender, asshole.
[Though stars burst behind his eye, Majima attempts to flip places with the man, intent on pinning him to the ground with a sharp knee against his sternum.]
no subject
I'm going to ask you again. Think about your answer this time. Who---
[Before his attempts to beat and intimidate the other man go out the window. With a headbutt -- and Matt nearly blacks out on the spot, head snapping back]
Aaaugh!
[he makes another grab for the other man, but his body betrays him; he buckles, and is pinned by the knee]
[Majima's got a few seconds to make his next move while this idiot is winded, because he doesn't look like he's going to give up anytime soon]
no subject
Maybe you wouldn't be seeing a bunch of crazy bullshit if you took this stupid thing off--
[Majima sits on the man's chest and pins his hands down with his feet before reaching down and wrenching the mask off his face. His eye widens and he almost darts up in surprise before remembering his predicament. Majima grabs him by the scruff of the neck.]
...Matt?
no subject
[He has to make a run for it. Or at least try. He uses the element of surprise to punch for Majima's gut with all the strength he has left, doesn't answer, and instead tries to wrench himself out from underneath the other man, grunting and trying to hide his face]
[But yeah. It's Matt]
no subject
Man, you gotta snap out of it--
[Majima grunts exasperatedly and lets Matt preoccupy himself with hiding his face behind his hands. It lets him stand up again, still dragging Matt up with him by his collar.]
It's Majima, you know where I work. The hell are you doin' out here?
[It's his turn to push Matt against a wall, but it's not as if forcing Matt to look at him will jar any memories. He may have to try a different approach.]
...Who're you lookin' for? Maybe I can help.
no subject
Fisk.
[And nothing more. His sick brain recognizes, for this second, that Majima is Majima and not one of Wilson Fisk's street thugs, but who knows how long it'll last. This sickness is wrecking havoc on him.] His men--- they're out here. You must have seen them.
no subject
However, Majima won't learn a thing about it if Matt keels over in the street. Getting him to a doctor takes priority over curiosity. He loosens his grip a little so he can wrap one of Matt's arms around his shoulder, and starts to lead him back out of the alley. Even though he's entirely dead weight, Majima keeps his other hand wrapped around Matt's waist so he can't run off.]
Yeah. That's why I'm stickin' to the backstreets. Gonna get you somewhere safe for now until the heat's off.
[The blatant lies chafe at Majima's conscience a little, but it's not like Matt will remember, anyway.]
Hell, I'll help you take 'em down. Been a while since I've had a good fight.
no subject
[Not that there's much point. Majima's already seen his face, already recognized him]
Shit.
[It's kind of a response to what Majima's saying, and kind of not. Regardless, it doesn't seem like Matt's going to give it up anytime soon]
I don't need to be safe. I need to find him. So either help me or stay out of my way.
[It sounds more hoarse than hostile, especially since Majima did offer (after telling him he'd get Matt somewhere safe), but he's not himself, that much is evident]
